To be fair, the red dragon that attacked the keep didn't do that much. He was hesitant on how he attacked.

Probably one of the reasons Ydril doesn't seem too bothered by what happened to him and what they're doing with his body. His hesitancy to attack (while not the sole factor) contributed not only to his own death but to her injury and capture.

@@IaIaCthulhuFtagn I do not remember the details exactly but I could have sworn shortly after her initial capture something was uttered that hinted that Tarak probably was something to her. even if that something was as simple as a budding friendship or minor mentor-like role.

True question of this chapter: If there are "true dragons", are there "false dragons"? Like sharks and chimeras?

Well, technically the ancestors weren't dragons originally and quite possibly there was a dragon before they existed that went extinct if I listened to this correctly, so even though they are true dragons they are technically copies lol

To have the different kinds of dragons evolve from such diverse creatures and end up with so similar traits (lifespan length, intelligence, breath weapons with similar mechanics, the same basic body plan, etc etc) would have to either be a case of divine intervention or really impressive convergent evolution. Basically, is it God or are dragons their equivalent of crabs?
