Alliance scrap crew after recovering video footage from the black box: What in the Void? What in the Void? What in the Void? What in the Void is THIS? Tell me we did't pull this things remains into our cargo hold! What dou you mean we did?! Where is it! WHAT DO YOU MEAN GONE!?!
The raspy breathing was heard, the red glow of a blade of a length and type never seen before illuminated the tall, black-clad figure. Despite the vacuum, it's cape billowed in the half darkness moving in and out of the glow of the blade. [MCU ending]: Come to the Dark Side we have cookies
In my headcanon, a log buoy is jettisoned by the ship before the self-destruct and the last image on any of the security footage is Cain slowly getting to his feet.
... You know what, that makes a lot of sense. They have lots of mass, you don't want to bang that mass around like you do while running as a human. I suppose for that same reason, spider tanks would be very quiet (relatively speaking) while running too.
This story was really good as was the narration, but I personally would have liked one last perspective from the pirate of "the revenant" standing at attention.
Badass? Letting criminals walk on board and slaughter people you thought were friends is badass? Kane was the best tactician on their team? Kane surviving his stupidity and throwing a hissy fit is badass? Handing out completely overkill vigilante Justice to a completely different pirate crew just to get at his actual target is badass? The story would have been 100x better if it was all from the alien captains perspective, cause all i can do after hearing it is hate kane's stupid ass guts.
@@gman1515 Clearly you didn't listen to the story, did you? Kane's choice was quite reasonable given the typical standard of Aliance piratical activity, by that pirate captain's own statements. Surviving when just about anyone else'd die is definitely badass. It was the same pirate crew, not a different one. And yeah, overkill vigilante justice is definitely badass.
@@theriveracis5172 anyone else would have blasted the pirates out the sky when they had the chance, not allowed them on the ship. Kane killed his friends. The only justice would have been for him to die with them, and even that wouldn't have been enough to atone for his stupidity.
@@gman1515 You're assuming that they could simply press a button and instantly win a naval engagement. To say you're an idiot would be an insult to idiots everywhere.
Vengeance! I know vengeance! I know vengeance all the way to hell and back. But no matter how hot the fire burns in you, wait. Wait for the fire to cool, to turn cold. An icy lump of hate inside you ,right next to your heart. Then act! Cold vengeance is better. And the lesson sticks. I know!
i want to see the confrontation in the afterlife. also, Raprax's vision of the afterlife sounds a lot like some of the indian afterlifes that i've heard of
Revenants are a) an irl human myth already. The spirit of someone wronged so badly that they cannot rest and they instead remain in the mortal realm to seek revenge. B) this is apparently similar to an alliance myth. They believe that in the afterlife those they wronged get to judge them, but some Spirits can't wait and come after them in the mortal realm. It's clear he thought Kane (fuck Kane, Kane sucks, i hate Kane so much) would survive on his ship forever if he didn't destroy it. So he was comparing Kane to a myth, not recollecting a name for something that actually happens. Although thanks to kane's stupidity and following Temper tantrum the events would seem like a revenant from the captains perspective.
@@gman1515the captain is a non human (mentioned two hearts?) and possibly knows the human myths because somehow this happened before already. At lrast that was the vibe I got. As he tells it not like a human story, it is already a pirate story.
Driving a human to rage and vengeance is dangerous. I'm actually concerned for the poor souls that had no part in the raid that started this vendetta. They may have been pirates, but they were innocent of the sin that started this problem.
Kane should have just gotten revenge on himself tbh. He let the pirates on when he knew his ship outgunned them. Fuck Kane. I hate the author of this for making Kane seem badass. Kane is just stupid
On stupidity. He let the pirates on the ship when he could have blown them out the sky instead. Kane killed his friends and then he killed a bunch of poor bastards who killed the guys Kane used to kill his friends. Kane is dumb
self made robocop anyone?? Like a mixture between Tony Stark's first armor suit, and Robocop with a dead family and a burning desire to avenge them, also in space.
