Up until 1917, you could ship explosives through the U.S. mail service. And having worked in a FED EX facility, I've seen some very questionable stuff come through.

@@Primearch-GG Well if the aliens got lucky and didn't have some of the accidents we had doing that kind of stuff they probably didn't think of such regulations. Funny and horrifying fact: The earliest placarding of such shipments got the train cars full of explosives shot at. People living along the rail thought the signs would be great for target practice.

@@nobodyimportant2470 if the aliens were THAT LUCKY, then, to borrow a chinese saying: their ancestors graves would have blown up their entire planet, leaving only green smoke behind. The actual saying is: the ancestor's grave must be blowing out green smoke(green smoke is a sign of good luck in china)
