I only have one nitpick for this story: the AI is named Horus after an Egyptian god, and it was placed in orbit of a world known as New INDIA. Why Horus and not an Indian god like Shiva or Kali?

Everyone who likes this story should check out (if they are not already familiar with) the "Bolo" stories, created and primarily written by Keith Laumer. Why do they sacrifice themselves to protect us, even at hopeless odds? "For the honor of the regiment."
