Many pedal companies try to capture the magic of that hot rodded british amp sound. It's not that easy to do it though. You have to get the sound right and then there's the dynamic range, the tightness, the harmonics, etc. The Panama certainly nails all of that and has a very useful feature on top: the Damping knob.
