I'm in the market for another good mesh jack for summer. I've had a red and black summer mesh. I don't care what anyone says, I live in Florida and any black on you gets super hot. No one seems to make anything in any other color or understand how hot any amount of black gets. It's really frustrating

Love this review, subscribed. Currently living and working in Vietnam, it's kinda pretty hot even in Dec and ridding BMW 1250 GSA is getting hotter. Will check this out but preferable beige and white mesh color jackets....

The Knox Urbane Pro is ace.

The Knox Urbane pro is great as long as you keep that mesh away from the road, or darmstadt for that matter, when you are riding. That said it is more than £100 cheaper than any properly protective (AA) summer motorcycle jacket in the UK., and for most urban riding, it fits the bill. Just make sure you don't fall off going more than 20-25mph.

Not sure about the original jacket but the new version can handle the road no problem! Heard about a guy coming off at 60mph and the jacket was barely touched, impressive

I’m always hot, never cold unless I’m sick. I can’t and could never wear a jacket, even on cold rainy days. I live in Hawaii. It really sucks. I remember in school having sweat stains on my whole back while everyone else is wearing a jacket.

Are those dyneema jeans safe ? As I understand it dyneema is stronger than Kevlar , but it’s no good for abrasion because it MELTS . Melts to your skin in a slide .

All your "hot weather" gear are dark colour!! Try bright colours or purely white gears for summer specially when sunlight is at its peak!

The only item that you “forgot” to mention the price is those boots, at £325 on your website you’re telling us that there’s no better and cheaper boot than this Belstaff Resolve ?

Hey Dan , it comes down to personal preference and what you want out of the boot, at the time of when this was made we believed that this boot was the best hot weather boot , many boots have come out in different style's and colours since then so there is bound to be something for everyone.

Brits recommending an open faced helmet... Laurence of Arabia rolling in his grave. XD Do love the knox riding shirt though. Id rather take a shower then get a skin graft, but thats just a combat veteran Yank talking. If your not gonna wear gear please at least be an organ and cadaver donor :P

Impact protection is lv 1 that's piss poor. You want lv 2 ce as standard. Wouldn't buy any of that gear. Well perhaps the jeans.

I cringe every time I see an open faced helmet. You should see the scratches and nicks I have in my visor from bits of grit and shit getting kicked up off the road. Full face helmet for me, thanks.

What is this crap? Starts talking about hot weather gear then proceeds to show off multiple clothing options in black or dark colors... Take an hour ride in Arizona in that crap in mid August and if you survive you can call it hot weather gear. 20 degree temperature difference between black and white...
