bro, you set up a REALLY good slingshot target. I've been messing with basic forearm brace slingshots from walmart since i was a kid, and always had an issue with the rubber snapping at the fork... i've run through maybe 3, and always stopped sling-shotting for x amount of years when they broke. this slingshot seems to have solved the issue. thanks for making this video man, you got one additional sub from me!

Save time and energy!!! Cut out all the goofy clips!!!! I didn’t select this video to be bothered with the goofy clips!!! To me they are like “Ads”!!! If you want to be a movie producer, don’t list as slingshot! My opinion and I’m sure that of others. Good luck!

I had the Hammer Bundle where the XT head came with the whisker biscuit. Eventually, I took the whisker biscuit off and found it to be the perfect fork for my son to learn to shoot with, as it is bulletproof regarding fork hits, it has a huge fork gap, and he can switch between OTT and TTF as a beginner. Plus the wrist brace to help him keep it all perpendicular. I found it to be the very best set up for a beginner to learn on, out of all the slingshots in my collection! Excellent video brother!

Great video! I just purchased the sparrow and bean flipper from simple shot. I’ll have to check out the hammer soon. Have to say I love the barrel target idea gonna have to make one of those myself!

i took that out shooting when i went camping along with my axiom ocularis LE. I went threw a few hundred shots and surprised how good i was able to get with them. Still need a lot more practice but seems very promising to master.

Is there somebody here that knows where can I buy in store this slingshot or any other than a Daisy one in Los Angeles area ? Have trying because isn't the same to feel it than see it and probably doesn't fit your hand size, or isn't comfy. Thanks if somebody knows.

Good eye there! But I’m actually right handed, but I’m left eye dominant. Because of that I shoot with my left.

What’s your opinion of the Barnett pro Diablo. Had a Y shape as first one when a kid. Got a Jungle Hunter that was like a better made Black Widow. I’m thinking things have changed a lot since the 80’s. I’m in Northern England. I like the green one your showing, hopefully they stock them in the UK.

I too own a Barnett pro Diablo. It was one of my first slingshots I purchased. I still have it somewhere! I haven’t shot it in a while but when I did I enjoyed it. It’s definitely a lot bulkier than what I shoot now but if you don’t mind it being that way you’ll enjoy it.

@@canvandal4503 nah it’s old news. Now I have seen the one with the swap out parts . It’s clearly a vast improvement. Found a company doing the kit for £59 plus delivery. The first and one of the only 2 stockists in the UK want £100 including delivery. I have to find a good reason to spend that kind of money on something like this. To justify it to myself. Having looked closer it is a quality product.

This was my proud first purchase from simple shot last year. I bough the entire collection with intent to hunt 🦌 🐿 , fish 🎣 and target shoot 🎯. Jokes on me, I thought it was a one time do all slingshot. Oh boy was I right but it wouldn’t be my last for sure!

Thanks for the video. It answered a lot of my questions. However I do have a question that you may be able to answer regarding your Axiom Ocularis and hunting. How wide of bands will it take for practical shooting?

To be very honest it really gets into preference. Here’s my preference as far as small game. I shoot a 3/8 ammo with a .7 at a 15-22 taper. Now if you’re trying to shot further out you may want to beef up your taper. Some guys shoot the same thickness but they run a 20 to 25. I would just practice with a taper and see how flat it shoots and how hot it comes off the frame.

I also want to note that I use strictly SimpleShot Premium Black Latex. I have used other latex at the same taper and thickness that felt lighter on the draw. My recommendation is strictly related to SimpleShot and Premium Black.

Youv never tried a wrist brace before?? Ive used 10mm tubes with 2mm wall thickness all my life. I carve my own ruger pistol grips and run 4x 10mm bands(9.8kg draw) it has counterweights out the front to stop the huge kick it has. Each band has a rotating cam on the fork to help with the dead zones. But theres too much internal friction that dosnt resolve in tubes. So converted to 4x 1mm bands. Its quieter and more accurate

This would be ideal for a shtf situation in a rual area when you can't use a 22. Its super quiet. A d with practice you might be able to use a rock if you ran out of ammo for it. And another thought you could use a led ball from a muzzleloader. 🤔

I would definitely go with something on the bigger side. You can make a smaller frame work but I think I would start first with the bigger one like the one in the video.

If it’s not too far maybe you could travel to Florida and smack some of those pesky iguanas, perhaps o collaboration with some Florida shooters. I’m in California and prohibited from hunting game animals with a slingshot. Bought a Daisy last month and began researching; ordered a Sparrow from SimpleShot last week.

the band broke after 7 shots...chronoed the shots before it broke @290 average with a 10 mm steel ball, my Beeman Marksman hit 380 fbs with the same round..and thats not even my best sling
