Just from watching antiques roadshow I’ve learned that a lot of American jewelers didn’t mark their pieces back in the day. And that platinum is a very popular early 20th cent metal to mount diamonds. So unmarked, platinum, diamond as well as the form just scream 1900-early Art Deco. They’re so sparkly!

I did! I’ve been back a few times- one of the visits she recognized me and ran to the basement to pull out an entire box of estate earrings for me. I haven’t found a piece as amazing as the platinum brooch but definitely a place I will continue to visit. ❤️❤️❤️
