Ok, I had to come back to give more of my thoughts on this data. To give some background, I spend a fair bit of time figuring out how to get 1 or 0 cycles with various setups. I find it fun to tinker around with different LCs, relics, speed tuning, etc. So, what I've found is that in actual practice is that Tingyun is more practical to facilitating shorter cycles for Jingliu than any other unit aside from Bronya. This mostly comes down to logistics. Even if on paper, Jingliu can get to higher potential DPS with the debuffs from a debuffer, getting those debuffs on the targets you need them to be on (getting the ultimate and skill use ready every time from the debuffer everytime Jingliu needs them for her burst), while also facilitating Jingliu to get her Ult enough time to maintain her transcendent state... Just isn't very practical. Especially if using 2 debuffers together. It doesn't help that MoC is very AoE orienteered now with a unit like Silver Wolf. Getting her skill up and Ultimate up as much as you need just doesn't work out I've found. Tingyun also has this massive edge in just being a Harmony unit and thus being able to use incredibly powerful LCs, like, say, Bronya's LC. The extra skill point + 30% dmg for burst (you get it for the Ult even with the action advance because you pre hit the Ult after you use the first skill) + 10% energy regen, if you you pre-ultimate on her correctly (with von planer set, making it so you don't need rng for Tingyun to be hit), enables Jingliu to get an extra ultimate with 100% consistency than if you don't use her. This is so massive and important in practice that I don't even feel that it's particularly close to other options (baring Bronya). Yes, you need to speed tune and use a specific setup to do this, but the gains you get from doing so are far in the way the second best option Jingliu has. I would rank it like this: Bronya > Tingyun(with speed tuned Bronya LC+Von) > Pela > Silver Wolf > Asta. Maybe you could put Silver Wolf ahead of Pela in specific situations, but if the enemy already is ice weak or if there are duo bosses, I do feel like Pela, especially at E4 with Pearls, is superior outside of a whaled out Silver Wolf. From my own testing this is what seems to be true. For pairings (baring Bronya since it's already clear she's the best), I would have it (Tingyun + Pela) > (Tingyun + Silver Wolf) > (Tingyun + Asta) > (Pela + Silver wolf) > (Pela + Asta) > (Silver Wolf + Asta). Again, you could perhaps put Tingyun + Silver Wolf ahead in specific situations where you really need the elemental manip, or if there is just one boss (non-MoC at that point), or if the Silver Wolf has whale levels of investment. I do really feel that Tingyun, with the right setup, is far and away Jingliu's best partner in practice. I really can't understate enough how impactful Tingyun is paired with Jingliu on the speed-tuned Bronya LC setup with Von set. And, again, the reason she wants Von is because if you use Broken Keel, she needs to be hit or to get a kill (probably will prefer if Jingliu gets all kills anyways) to get her Ult again early consistently. You also don't want to skill when you don't need to because the 20% speed will put her ahead of your Pela or Silver Wolf unless they have more speed than Tingyun+22.4 (20%) speed, which may not be practical or worth it since you don't want your team to be too slow either. After doing a lot of testing, I felt strongly about sharing these findings since they won't be as apparent just from looking at the on paper comparisons. As for things like E6 Yukong or Blade, I don't know how they stack up personally as I don't have them to test with. I have found that Jingliu does decent with a second DPS in general though thanks to being skill point proficient. I agree completely that she is far more flexible to build teams with than a unit like DHIL from what I've seen.

Everytime I see comp team guides, I just get reminded that I should have maybe rerolled for Bronya when I had the chance

Thanks for all the great and comprehensive videos! For me Jingliu was a game changer and brought me fully back to HSR. Running her with Pela, Fu Xuan and a E1/S1 Bronya that I was lucky enough to get by losing my Silverwolf 50/50 (and saving Starlight to buy the light cone). As Jingliu is also my favorite character when it comes to her lore, I couldn't be happier.

What I hate is when I do Jingliu / Blade / Bronya / Luocha and on auto Bronya always picks Blade but on manual Bronya always hovers on Jingliu 😢

Hey Mr Pokke, had a few questions; I've seen a few guides that recommend Blade + Tingyun teammates and was wondering where on the DPS Sims chart you showed in the video would this team comp be placed. Secondly, would you recommend the Tutorial Mission LC or a high superimposition Resolution LC on Pela? For context, I do not have Bronya or Silver Wolf and I am running 4pc hackerspace so I was wondering if it would be more valuable to stack more defense reduction over better energy regeneration for Pela. Man I have a lot to work towards with Jingliu's Team it's gonna be a lot of work and man I wish I had a Bronya but I will make due anyway another fantastic Team Comp Guide, will definitely refer back to this a lot!

It's just unfair, how Bronya is so good and so much harder to get, than any limited character. With 4,5+3+5 = ~ 12 tickets per month it is still more than 6 months to get her from 300 pulls garantee.

if i have jingliu and kafka as my dps for moc, is using worth using tingyun for kafka when i can get insane damage outpout from bronya pela jingliu?

Is the Blade/Jingliu DPS calculation with a Wind and Ice weakness or without any typing?

I wish you'd include the DPS Sim Team Comp Alternates in your Unit Analysis on your Library 😢 Would be so helpful, especially when choosing teams in MoC.

It would be interesting to see DMG comparison in comps that do not run sustain at all (for fastest MoC clears for example), might be good for the times when you don't need any of those units on a second team. As for the auto team, going for bronya + blade + JL is a bit of a disaster because bronya always prioritizes Blade on autobattle for some reason, but it still works, just not as optimal On one of your screenshots (13:56) 3 other characters (besides JL) were running the 4pc damage reduction set, can you please elaborate a little bit on what that slide was about? I assume it's for prolonged fights where you need more sustain from the health regen of the set?

Is pela better with pearls of sweat or tutorial lightcone for jingliu?

so if i understand it right, it would be better to build jingliu with atk boots if my bronya is e2 and have 134 speed right?

single target with e6 silver wolf and her light cone at s5 is way higher then the bronya/pela combo but I'm guessing that is e0 silverwolf in the spreadsheet

ive not built pela yet, but i've got silverwolf - am i missing out on much by not building pela? I don't have a lot of resources to spend...im using E1S1 jingliu, E2S1 Bronya, E0S1 silverwolf, and E0S1 luocha currently.

Im kinda in an awkward speed breakpoint.. my jingliu is at 149(spd boots) with 147 bronya, should I tune it down to 134 and switch to atk boots ?

Thank you so much for this video MrPokke Everywhere I went said that Bronya + Ting was better than Bronya + Pela but that just didn't reflect my experience at all. In my Jingliu, S1 Bronya, Pela, Luocha team the SP economy is just enough for Pela to be able to fit some skills here and there relatively frequently and the extra energy from these skills allows her to use Resolution instead of Tutorial for the massive +50% AoE def shred. Things just clicks too well in this team.

doing Jing + Pela + Blade, what should my sustain be? E2 Lynx or Bailu with S1?

My Team is not yet developed enough to use Bronya + Pela(E4) as I run out of skill points due to fight being longer than 1-2 cycles.

The problem i have is im running a high speed bronya with blade with no speed, so i dont have no buffer for blade if i use her on jingliu and therefore am stuck with tingyun+pela which honestly doesnt feel that bad cuz of how i get like 5-6 spectral transmigration in a row

from 3:14 alone one can build probably a great team 1. short fights, another unit that wants short fights is FU xuan as her healing just cant sustain many rounds, but the damage mitigation makes the team almost immortal in the first few and her giving crit chance is a great bonus for JL. allowing you to gain the full benefit 2. debuffer we have only 2 relevant ones, and both work, pella same element as JL, SW same element as Fu xuan 3. Bronja. Bronja team: JL bronja, SW/Pella, Fu xuan

Is broken keel preferred over fleet of ageless for supports (since atk buff is much useless?) or are the differences negligible. I was gonna end up just farming ruliant arena either ways so was wondering if supports are worth upgrading with feel on all three or if its similar output with fleet of ageless?

i have 137 bronya and 139 JL. is it okay? im not sure why we need specifically 134 bronya 135 jingliu

Jingliu + welt + Pela + whatever sustain is perfect for the second half of MoC 10, all the enemies have ice and imaginary weaknesses. And welt reliable AoE ultimate does big dmg with reliable imprisonment, plus the 12% dmg vulnerability debuff.

what is optimal 134 speed Bronya build for JL team?

Wasn't the optimal Bronya behavior at 160 SPD the normal -> skill rotation with JL ATK% boots, not skill spam Bronya? I remember seeing preliminary calcs of that rotation being competitive 134 Bronya rotations early because the turn advance on Bronya normal allowing you to get double turn behavior on Jingliu, just at lower speed, but with ATK % boots on JL.

Wouldn't tingyun be bad with bronya at 134 spd? Jingliu attacks twice every time once before bronya and once after bronya. This makes tingyun E buff disappear every turn meaning to keep it up tingyun becomes 100% sp negative right? And how would bronya team work with hou hou?

We've known it all along but it only becomes more and more true over time...Bronya is simply her. It feels like a waste of breath to talk about how broken this character is but I must pay my respect to the goat. (Also a huge Pela fan because of how effortlessly powerful she is)

Jinglu Blade, Lynx/Bailu, Pela/Bronya Tingyun. But I use is a troll team full Quintet Blade, Jing liu, DHIL and JIng yuan/Bailu

Jingliu motivated me to raise my Pela. I have been running them with Bronya 161 speed and it feels great

Was wondering how the upcoming HuoHuo pairs into a JL/Pela/Bronya team. I want to pull for a 5* sustain other than my boy Geppo who I don’t think works too well with JL and still torn between saving for Otto or trying for HuoHuo.

Still 70 regular passes away from choosing Bronya, so I guess I'll be able to pick her up somewhere next year maybe. Bummer.

Even though there are many praise surrounding Bronya. I will always choose Peela over her due to Peela’s ease of use. It’s so dumb, like wdym nothing about her supportive kit revolves around stats?😭 u can literally build her anything and she’ll do fine. She’s the most skill point friendly character (except the auto battle cuz Nihility ai are dumb as hell). In characters that are sp hungry, Pela will always be there for them. Also, can we also talk about her 42% def reduction. Then her wide ult can take advantage of Resolution that also gives 16%def. That’s 58% (50% if u dont have max refinement resolution and e3 pela) def reduction to all enemies. U can just give her a bit of ehr for the guaranteed 16% def reduction. Also her ult recharges so fast like wth. I just love Pela sm. She is arguably the best support in terms what she can provide despite being 4star , can be used to anyone cuz she is a def debuffer (even the sp hungry one), and her brain rot gameplay.

nice vid, but my fav due to synergy and waifu and abit of whaling is Jingliu, SW, Bronya & my E4 FX with sig LC, all 3 supports with Broken Keel for maximum uptime & crit dmg stacking

Is it worth to go for the LC as a f2p? I don’t want huo huo or argenti coming up but do want black swan whenever she comes. Is the dmg increase with her LC pretty big or is it only like 10% better than the herta store one?

If I use 134 Bronya (E1) do I have to make Jingliu on 135 speed? Or can I use ATK boots on her?

wait wait, you are talking about using Jingliu with ATK boot and barely any SPD and Bronya on 134SPD and do Basic/Skill/Basic/Skill? or to use Bronya on a Full SP Negative and run Bronya as a pure Buffer instead of an Advance Forward unit? Wouldn't it be better to run Jingliu on 135 and Bronya on 134 and make Jingliu do 2 turns per bronya?

Need help guys, I only recently pulled Huohuo and Bronya. How should I tune team in terms of speed for both JL and Bronya. Bronya has no sig LC, JL with sig LC, Huouo no sig LC. Just an additional note, I also have Pela e4 in the team.

All I can say is know your Jingliu's dmg, you dont need to always wait for the second skill use to enter her enhanced state if you know youre gonna kill the enemies with her burst + enhanced E

If we consider pairing jingliu and blade with bronya, how would you personally speedtune them? 135-134 jingliu-bronya with base speed blade or try fastya with both base speed jingliu and blade? 135 jingliu-blade + 134 bronya may be too skill point negative for the last flex to keep up.

I was wondering if there's any info on how E6 Jing Liu effects the teammates? Does Ting Yuns ult gen gain more value to keep Jing Liu permanently in her enhanced state? Or does it not matter because Bronya is so busted lol

This unit surpassed my expectations. She made my Swarm 5 and MoC 10 runs way more comfy. As a Bronya-less person, it's good to see her comp improves to such a higher extent with Bronya. Which is something to look up to, once you reach 300 pulls eventually.

Have to build Pela now apparently. And Bronya. Should have her team ready to go by Christmas. A bit sad that blade drops the damage so much; I loved the idea of the sub dps

Pela at autoplay seems to use her skill a lot. Making it a huge problem to get consistent SP

Btw, anyone who is using bronya+dps (jing liu) and was speed tune properly and wonder why sometimes bronya speed just overtake ur dps, making dps act before bronya skill, check if ur bronya is using Messenger Traversing Hackerspace set. If u do, then that is the reason, it make ur dps speed buff expired faster than bronya, resulting in bronya overtaking turns

Unfortunately i didn't get Jingliu when i tried to obtain more Tingyun copies, instead all i got was more than E6 of Qingque copies that turns into exchange points😢. I also dont have Bronya and with that, i think ill just save up pity for Topaz and build up a FuA team instead since i already had Blade doing very well as my main DPS now. Since im so lucky with QingQue copies i guess i also had to use Qq as another DPS then.

i personally use Blade/Jinglui/Fu Xuan/ Tingyun , i might not have the highest cleartime possible, but it is consistent for longer battles aswell. and i can buff my blade aswell for more dmg. and i use 2nd team: Lynx / SW / Seele/Bronya.

What is the % damage difference between Fast Bronya and Slow Bronya when running her with Jingliu? Is it negligible ?

Should I build a super fast pela like 160 if I play with 135 bronya and 136 Jing liu or should i build pela just fast enough to outspeed them? Or it dosnt really matter?

Using Lynx or March to manipulate aggro onto Jingliu so she gets an extra ultimate is a viable strat. There may even be situations where it's preferable to use an energy rope if you are just a bit short from getting it using this method. An extra ult can often be the difference between a 0 or 1 cycle clear in some stages.

Did the "short fights" label can only be attached on jingliu? Even though she's low sp consumer? How about DHIL who must spend an entire sp to provide good damage? Just played this game for 2-3 weeks, still confused how to differentiate whether the characters good or not

I cant distinguish which character you mean when you talk about Jing Yuan/Jingliu/Tingyun. With the way you pronounce their names it all sounds like Tingyu :D

If you are using Pela + Silverwolf, is the Quantum set still good on Jingliu (vs Q weak of course) since Quantum set says it IGNORES Defense? In other words, the lower the enemies Defense, the less value you get from it? Or does it just act like a Def down and actually synergises with Pela + SW combo?

Is Fu Xuan a better team mate than Bailu/Lynx? I thought her mitigation didn't help with JL's team hp drain

I still prefer Jingliu with Blade to compensate the DPS downtime when Jingliu is not in her ST state. Also, you won't even notice Blade's 5 stack talent count. It just hits out of the blue.

I personally use Jingliu + SW + Pela + Fuxuan/Lynx because i'm running the Quantum set on Jingliu. I didnt farm the ice set bcs i dont have DPS wind character and no ice unit previously, and i farmed alot on Quantum set due to having Seele so yeah. The damage is good and versatile but not as big as the Bronya + Pela, i do have Bronya E0S1 and E6 Pela. I still use the Quantum teamcomps for Jingliu on MoC bcs of versatility and comfort. Also why i dont use Yukong is bcs Yukong needs a lot of SP if not she'll have little to no function in the team except for Imaginary breaks but E6 kinda help with that a bit. Since Jingliu is more of a frontloaded, Jingliu need those buff ASAP on the first 3 turn of hers and Yukong doesn't compliment that while unit like Pela/Silverwolf/Bronya/Tingyun can support well outside of their ult.

I dont get why Bronya+TY team only on the third place if you complete 10th floor with this team with 0 cycles and Bronya+Pela team complete only with 2 cycles. In cureent rotation I completed 10th floor with Bronya+TY team with 0 cycles as well, with Pela I have doubts that is possible.

My comp is Jingliu - ice set + energy Lynx - shared feelings LC Tingyun Sub DPS Fu xuan The goal is to use the shared feelings lightcone to get her 5 energy with lynx skill. Jungliu takes the aggro for more energy regen, Tingyun tops her energy off. Fu xuan boost damage a bit as well as mitigates some damage since jingliu is going to hold aggro. As a result junglius talent is up as much as possible.

I'm confused why an ERR rope is good with Tingyun. Isn't the energy from Tingyun's ultimate unaffected by ER%?

Mr Pokke, could you do a CN damage analysis of Jingliu vs. Dan Heng IL?

Are those numbers based on ice weakness enemies only? Because if you are against non-ice weak enemies, there might be situations where debuffs like pela's def and ice shred wear off quickly, due to enemies not able to get broken status. Which you lose the debuff turns duration, unless your Pela is fast enough to reapply them.

hey i love your guides but if you would allow one point of criticism. a lot of graphs and charts are in chinese but it would help greatly if it was in english too. it would help digest the big amount of information we're getting a lot easier. anyway great vid as always mate 👍

I wonder where Bronya makes a bigger impact, in my Blade Team or my Jingliu Team. I suppose Tingyun works better with the Jingliu team than with Blade's.

Having 1 remaining mob on low HP wastes JL enhanced state and is such a momentum killer. So even Pela + Bronya provides more damage, Ting Yun + Bronya is just more effective. Plus, it’s so much more fun.

I tried auto in MOC, my team was Jingliu Blade Pela Lynx and somehow they died at floor 6 lmao. Also AI keeps using JL ult out of her enhanced state, this kinda triggers me.

Do you have thoughts on dropping sustain? Jingliu's freeze in her technique and high burst makes her uniquely suited for this type of team. Maybe pair her with a 5 star harmony ice that buffs weakness break too.....
