Complete Honkai: Star Rail guide for Argenti with reference from the CN Community. This video will thoroughly cover his trace priority, special mechanics, eidolons, relics, lightcones, and team compositions. He is very likely the best (elegant) AOE DPS we will have for a while, at least until 1.7 comes along. Argenti is an extremely potent hypercarry for AOE content like SU, Swarm, MOC, and Pure Fiction. You got Argenti's Technique wrong when you said "most of the time we will not be using Argenti's Technique to enter battle". It is like Sampo's Technique combined with Jingliu's one, you can use it then switch characters and still gain the benefit of it. You get full technique points in MoC, so you can use Technique once with everyone once and Tingyun's twice.

Bruh wtf are you talking about? This dude's straight up spreading misinfo . Do you have something against JY? JY's LL is a bounce attack which works the same way as Argenti. The LL strike does not target dead enemies.It's just the Blast dmg but it isn't a waste either.

You're just not comparing them in fair scenarios.You say this is an St comparison but then downplay JY's LL hit saying that it will hit some random mobs(It's supposed to be a st comparison why are mobs present?)And considering ST dmg is maximized without risking LL dmg to be split just for the adjacent dmg in a mobs present scenario,it's not fair. Then you do not consider ult+skill dmg dealt to the boss while considering Argenti's 1st dmg segment on the boss. JY's multipliers are more than enough to clear mobs so it does not matter a bit if his 2 skill+ult has a lil less dmg than Argenti's skill+1st dmg segment.Both of them can clear mobs efficiently. And if mobs are alive after the 1st dmg segment(By not critting,enemy sheilds,buffs running out) then the 2nd dmg segment would be split as well. Just present fair situations for both of them.Not a sub optimal situation for JY and an Optimal situation for Argenti which clearly looks like 2x standards from our POV.

Dont forget that E4 is further buffed by E3 talent lv up by 2, increasing the critrate to 33.6% crit chance, which is basically one more substat worth of critrate, its not great but also not nothing.

Just wanna point out that Jingyuan LL works the same way as Argenti’s ult where if a unit dies in the middle of the attack, LL will no longer target the dead target as the center target.

Copied from my other comment: lightning lord's targetting by itself is an oxymoron; he doesnt want adjacent targets as it reduces the chance of main target being hit by LL's main 66% multiplier, but he also wants adjacent targets so as to improve LL's total damage from 66% on a single target alone to now 66%x1.5, 660% vs 990% in the perfect world, LL always hits the center target, with splash damage + main damage coming out to 990%. in reality, this is impossible as it will only have a 1/3 chance of hitting the center target, resulting in damage wasteage as LL stacks aim adjacent targets, leading the main target to only receive 25% multiplier per stack. Argenti will never face this issue as its first hit is so strong that it easily wipes all mobs, leading the remaining 6 hits to focus with 0 wastage. no matter how you see it, Argenti's enhanced ultimate will outdamage lightning lord at every scenario, be it 1,3 or 5 targets. Hope this clarifies 🫡

@@mrpokkee I think you are not good at math. 1. LL's max multiplier is 990%, not 1160%. 2. By the time LL hits, small enemies are dead just like Argenti's 1st segment of enhanced ult. 3. No one is arguing LL outdamage Argenti's enhanced ult. Argenti's enhanced ult: 280% (kill mobs) + 570% (random) = 850% total Jing Yuan's ult + LL: 200% (kill mobs) + 660%(random) = 860% total Are we clear?

if we run the standard team comp of huohuo hanya and tingyun, can we run ER rope as the atk buffs are stacking like mad without ATK% Rope already? can we also run ATK% boots in this case since Hanya can give speed buff to make sure he is always 140-150 speed without SPD boots with huohuo also giving ult charge to ensure Hanya's uptime is 100%

It’s still worse than salsotto since the 8% crit rate makes it much easier to run crit damage chest, and the difference between 8% crit rate and 12% atk is larger than the 3% damage difference. It mostly depends on which has better substats though.

it is just my opinion, maybe in prydwen, they calculate all damage output in 3 or more turn, but in CN they calculate the biggest damage in 1 turn/ maybe in 1 action thats why in prydwen peacefull day get just 3% lower than argenti S1, because the damage bonus on argenty S1 just on his ultimate, but in peacefull day the damage is not just on ultimate

@@masbethfvck5269 Ye, it's all a bit strange, as far as I can see, all his S1 has over Peaceful Day is 1% DMG, 36% CD, and 50 base attack. It doesn't feel right that those add up to such a huge difference in final damage output. If he has a good crit ratio without S1, the value of that 36% CD also plummets. It looks kinda... bad, no? Prydwen's 3% difference seems more accurate than these CN numbers - but there must be some condition we're not seeing.

Jing yuan also works the same way All bounce attacks work the same The only difference is just that, since Jing yuan's bounces also do blast damage, you can waste *some* damage since the game only checks if the main target is alive But his adjacent damage isn't even that high anyway

Lightning Lord doesn't hit enemies that are dead like you stated at 10:40 Soooooo is JingYuan getting more hate for no reason, cuz yeah if all enemies are dead Argenti also loses his bonus hit dmg as does JingYuan, but if an enemy dies to 1st or 2nd hit of LL then they aren't the main focus of LL hits anymore.

@@mrpokkeeBruh you're reposting the wrong thing again Jy would never prefer mobs before LL just to get the Blast dmg.Why are you presenting an unrealistic scenario to downplay him? You just presented a no mob scenario for Argenti's bounce while presenting a mobs scenario for Jy's bounce . Jy would also kill the mobs with skill+ult before hitting the Fua.

@@Sami-dy8lk refer to previous thread. in any case, why are YOU presenting an unrealistic scenario that guarantees jingyuan killing all mobs everytime? JY 2 skill 1 Ult is 400% mult, Argenti 1 skill 1 enhanced ult is already 400%. there is no scenario where jingyuan can clear mobs while argenti cant, but the contrary can happen. Im sure your jingyuan is excellent and can one shot every mob, but its not realistic nor representative of the entire playerbase.

It’s higher because it’s not backloaded into a follow up. Even if you use 90 ult for “lower dmg than full stack LL” you’ll hit it more often. So he does more damage overall in a fight.

His damage is easier to control due to having a 90 cost ult for mob clearing, while jing yuan needs to kill mobs with skill and ult to not waste LL stacks. He also has access to more buff sources, like bronya who can’t buff LL but can buff argenti ult, and it isn’t possible to overcap speed on argenti unlike jing yuan, since LL has a max stack. However, these are all quality of life changes, and not damage. In damage, especially with hanya’s release as a strong support for jing yuan, they are pretty similar in an optimal team as long as each gets their signature lc(not sure about non-signature, I think argenti with r5 peaceful day is better, not sure about breakfast). However, as mentioned above, it’s a lot easier to have an optimal team and build with argenti than jing yuan.

There were no nerfs, just dmg distribution and more follow up consistency. People see a character lose something and automatically assume its a nerf 😂

It's more like he's more simplified. Yeah he lost his spd and attack buff but his new deduction change makes up for it. Proccing his fua and getting to max stacks of his summation passive are easier. Also his ult folly proc from his allies is guaranteed now instead of by fixed chance. I'll take that over being reliant on his rng which is interesting but is going to frustrated to play around in the end. He's better than before now

Brother ... I just got finished building my Clara. Lvl 80, all traces unlocked and minium lvl8, farmed decent relics and then i decided to try a single multi to get hanya for daniel ..... Guess i won't be using Clara ever again lmao

Clara is still better for multi attack elites and is very strong as a subdps. Also sometimes enemies in a new wave act instantly, which gives Clara an advantage in wave clearing in those cases.

Huh? Destructions and eruditions has the fastest average clear times in moc since day one. Its hunt path thats really disappointing, topaz is even unranked in dps category and the rest of the hunt path except seele is shoved down in the bottom tier list says a lot

I am so mad and happy at the same time I lost my 50/50 on SW banner to Bronya then i said screw it and did a 10 pull on argenti banner and got him first try.....🥲 I was tryna go for mono quantum but seems like I'm getting mono physical cause lynx doesn't show up and hanya likes passing by like I didn't just get a Bronya 😂 #FEELSBADMAN
