Best throws from 2020, by looking at RU-vid analytics I can see that most of you haven't seen the review of 2020, and that does not sit well with me so I'm re-uploading the video without the commentary and other unnecessary parts. Just good old Judo throws. If you already saw this video sorry for re-upload and if you haven't have a nice watching!

In the 1970's, my Judo teacher would never award a full point to you if you fell down or dropped in an uncontrolled manner after throwing your opponent. The exception was if you were dragged down by your opponent. You either remained standing or you deliberately got down to immobilize your opponent or perform a choke or an arm bar, etc. He used to say that in a real fight, your opponent could win if you fell down. This was good training. Of course, in a competition, the judges were not as demanding.

Used his shoulder to leverage the opponent's leg - pushed against the opponents knee so that he falls on his back and then Ressel throws him onto the ground

I do judo but I agree with what you do , I also like watching other grappling styles (including sumo) to help learn techniques. A lot of the grappling moves and principles transfer really well from art to art

From my experience yes it’s good as long as you quickly go for a dominant position afterwards and not just stay laying on your back .

Judo has it all... If u study Kanos deep enough you will find JUJUTSU, BJJ , self defense, and code of honor to manage through life that no money and fame wont teach you...
