I approve this. With turner having the league rights now, they should put him on some games. Not the top ones though. Not that I don't like Harlan, but Kenny Albert have earned his spot as a top caller, doing good games and big games for many years now

Kevin Harlan, son of Bob (former, Packers GM), has made a name for himself as a top-flight play-by-play man. He is at the top of my list of announcers, especially the NFL and the NBA. His excitable voice is one for the ages. Mike Bream is up there with his NBA calls, Joe Buck with his MLB and NFL announcing. And Gus Johnson, with his thrilling calls of college football and basketball, as well as the NFL. And, oh, yes, Kenny Albert (son of Marv) for his contributions to the play-by-play booth. Kept hearing this guy's voice game after game thinking wow that's probably the greatest sports commentator voice and style ever. Did a bit of searching and got the name. Kevin Harlan, your voice, humor, descriptiveness and clearly honest forthright enthusiasm is absolutely contagious. You could make a commercial for kitchen appliances sound exciting. ;-)

As a Canadian, listening to Kevin Harlan on the Westwood One broadcast we would get on our local sports station was what got me into the NFL. The man could commentate just about anything. What a voice.

One of the best I've seen is when he's calling a Chiefs game but is also doing play by play of the Miami New England game. When asked by the color commentator which game he was calling he yells "I'M CALLING THEM BOTH!" Harlan and Verne Lundquist were/are my favorites. Al Michaels too.
Kevin Harlan is my favorite announcer he’s so good! I hate when a big play happens and an announcer like Joe Bucks has no excitement in his voice acting like nothing happened, but the there’s Harlan who makes it so much more exciting! One of the best ever
Two teams were playing yesterday; non favorites of mine. Kevin Harlan called the game so well, along with entertaining game play made it so fun to watch. I didn't know he hasn't had a Super Bowl opportunity. Give this man a 5 Super Bowl contract now please.
He's the only commentator i am excited to hear. He could make a cooking show thrilling. None of that preening 'oh this is his 8th 3rd down thing at home since 2018' who gives a shit, everyone else should stfu and learn to do it like this. respect!
