actually there is a spot in b heaven in split where u can put the swarm grenede between the wall from mid to heaven, can put it during buying phase , i use that with my alarmbot so if they do get back into that spot after peaking or if they try to rush i will pop off the swam grenede and it would do good amount of damage i have used it a lot, i would love to see u use that it is a good spot with the defense turrent spot that u said in ur other video, thanks mate
On BIND if you go through the teleporter at A and you know there is someone camping the teleporter, you can place the turret inside at the door and open the door and shoot with the turret.
for me - it's very difficult to understend english, but u r the only one who makes really useful and understandable videos for killjoy's setups even for me who have a bad english skill. love ur videos
There can be one minor change to killjoy by increasing the activation range of alarmbot a little bit so it can be used much effectively like before.Bcz an alarmbot job is to give info and it can't give damage like the turret so it is much better with some more range .
that would be awesome! It would make sense to only have a range for the turret but I'm not sure if she would be too strong then since you can pick up the alarmbot and put it back down 7 seconds later
At first I wasn’t a big fan of killjoy’s abilities and play style coming from Cypher’s lurk abilities and cages but watching your videos I have enjoyed killjoy a lot more and even hit Immortal 2! Really enjoy the content and can’t wait for more! By the way I’ve learned to use the turret more for single play especially to peak angles (Haven A for example) and then swap out my turret for the alarmbot for flank so I can use the turret on site to protect me as I’m planting or applying pressure.

The turret you put in mid on icebox is great for an A take as well, it activates if they flank through b or mid, and stays active no matter where you are on site.
there’s a really good ultimate spot on icebox a site attack where you can parkour on the left side boxes just before the choke to get on the ledge and ulti in the corner. you don’t even need to push that far in and covers all of site :)
On Icebox (A Site): Place your turret in nest peaking out of window towards site. Let it chip a few times and have your teammates (aggressively) push in. Turret reveals their position and your teammates should lend a hand while you "defend" your turret. Plant on site directly in the window and zipline back to nest (where your turret should be). Place a alarmbot behind you (you should already do this actually BEFORE in case you get flanked thru mid) so you control your back and if they try to defuse, your turret will chip them and you can finish them off (realistically, most time they will try to go for your turret because they fear dying from the turret). Feel free to place nades with alarmbot, on site, Keeoh spot, etc. Ive survived 4v1 with this method.
For me, i dont know but I like to play kj on icebox, specially for the defender side because of the wide range of the turret can see, i like to play solo at A site then having 2 control mid and B is pretty good. But on attacking B, I like to play my turret on the box at the corner, the one that you can see when going to B because it covers flank at the same time the front, then having an alarmbot on site and mollys are pretty good
I agree with you on Icebox on how it's definitely more frustrating to play Killjoy with her limited range but I do have a turret spot that I like for A. When attacking, I like to go on top of A Belt and put the turret on the left corner. It covers the right side of A, including the default plant spot, and it even catches people on the flank if they don't go up to belt. It only misses those flanking up to belt but almost every time I've played that spot, the enemy destroys the turret and I know they're flanking. Sadly you can't push up too far into sight so I just watch for flanks or try and catch them if the turret gets them trying to defuse.
Hi Keeoh ! Thx for the video. Really cool. For Icebox with killjoy on Attack I like putting my turret on the top of A Belt to cover flanks. When you put it on A belt you still have a small acces to the A site and you are still able to plant with your turret ON :) !
this is a defender kj turret spot but ik it was on your ct side vid you can put it on top of box as an aggressive peak itll only see belt on site and if anyone peaks the head glitch to the right but its pretty good for pistol rounds bc you can only see the top
When you push A on icebox. Just place the turret on top of the first ramp in the line of sight of the site, it’s brutal and it’s glitched, it starts shooting the wall on the right so you can know if someone’s holding that side. I just Molly the right side so they come out and just kill them, it’s great info, since that’s a hard angle to peek and mostly no one was trying to break it since it’s really hard to focus on it when you are surrounded. Nd just use the alarm bot for flanks.
For attacking A (Icebox) I usually place my turret on top of the boxes that are against the wall in front of the lower entrance. It will spot enemies on heaven and coming from below. I will have it active while walking around the whole site. Bad part is, you have to be careful when you place it. You will be vulnerable while placing it. Someone who is ziplining to nest or already in nest will probably see you. So just have a teammate covering you or check around first. It's a very good turret 😊

that glitched ultimate on Ascent B site garage showed at 4:16 can be done on A site of Bind as well, behind the boxes of the truck. I got it there by mistake and nobody was able to destroy it or wallbang it.
I have an alarmbot+molly spot that's unexpectedly gotten me a LOT of kills. On icebox B site, at the base of the rope that goes up the boxes. it's a choke point that weirdly gets crossed a lot and no one expects killjoy util there
I just wanna say 1: I've watched you all during your tournaments and I have to say amazing job out there! 2: thank you for these videos. I play on a very small team and I'm the killjoy player for it. I've learned a lot of new places that for the most part work sooo much better than some of the places I've been doing it. Not only that, your trap setup on point XD 3: Angles. That's all because anyone reading this knows what I mean.
Also as for IceBox some placements for mostly the alarmbot but also the turret. You can place the turret on B near the storage containers facing where most people place spike and have your alarmbot to the opposite side to see if anyone will try to flank the turret before planting. It's gotten me a couple wins as not many people as far as I've found expect it. There's also the "aggressive KJ" that I like to play where I use my turret and alarmbot for spotting if there's an enemy peaking where most people would just run through. This is especially good if the other team has an op where you can just peak after they shoot down the turret or the alarmbot and pop the headshot or get a few hits in. This works even better when you have a Raze with her ult.
On icebox during pistol rounds I like to hold b with my turret on top of the shipping container where it can see the b push and my alarm bot in the corner area behind it (so I know if they pushed there or not) then hold behind the radar tower thing but I usually only play this if I have another teammate with me

Idk why but I figured out a split lineup for b on attackers side and figured out a "glitch" or "bug" for turret placements to be put farther in cover for good chip damage
I just got a Killjoy Icebox game today. I hate this map. Because I have to stay on site to defence, and there's no way for me to help mid since the T side always breach through mid and then I was flanked. Do u have any advise on that? Tks from Vietnam
when pushing B site on haven they give backstabs from A so I put alarmbot on A entry. I dont put it on garage entry because my team mates will enter through that site
I think I have a better setup for turret and alarm bot in ICEBOX A site attacking. I put the alarmbot in the enterance and put my turret in the rop box(I don't know what It's called). And let my teammates plant. This way I can cover the whole back side and almost the whole site. (The walls are wall bangable but I hardly face someone killing me banging the walls)
honestly, though cypher is atrocious on icebox. You always have to double trip flank and the two barrels on a site let you jump over one of the trips. Defense on A site is impossible because of the barrier, and you have five seconds to set up on B.
i play spike on top of that tower then across the ropes i put my torrent. next i place a swam grenade at bomb so they’re getting hit by both torrent and swam grenade 😅
