I have it and it's awesome. My laptop shutted down by itself after 5/minutes with Dark Souls 2.With this cooler at max and good speakers or headphones? Never.
it doesn't cool .. it only take heat. so don't use it unless when ur laptop is burning(in other word, while gaming) .. mine degree is 78F without it and 99F at highest and lowest vaccum speed. I wonder if it's a good idea to use a cooling fan with it.
hi humans I'm back, actually it's not bad at gaming. helped significantly . but I still would suggest to have something solid under the laptop, for example a cooling pad.
for anyone that wants to go portable for cooling pads. my go to laptop cooling pad is the gt500 which is over 5000+ RPMS it does sound like a jet engine taking off, and or a person is drying off their hands. it'll be well worth your investment if you do get a cooling pad, i have one, and its for the msi laptop i have, and that has everything i need, so i could game on it, if i really wanted too. temps from the cooling ventilators and the cooling laptop pad, does make a huge difference, i dont mind the noise, though i don't know for other people, i got mine off of amazon for $78.00USD - the gt500 does make a difference, and it will take down the temps of at least 10 to 15 degrees cooler, combined with the ventilators having it on max airflow, makes another difference of 5 to 10 degrees cooler. opolar ventilators are the best ones, cause it can spin up to 5000 Revolutions per minute, if you have multiple exhaust vents then you might need to get multiple ventilators, though thats my preference. i dont know about anyone elses.
@Ninad Maneghatta How about if I put two of these on my laptop, one on each side, would that cool the laptop even further or do you think that won't make a difference?
I have vents on the back of my computer instead of the side is it possible that it could still work on the back or is there a specific reason that it wont?
can anyone help me out i have a Dell inspiron 17r 7720 and my vent is on the left side and a vent on the bottom , will this still work because it will block my air flow from the bottom ?
I've been looking at this but it's useless. It wont work with my Samsung as it covers the charge port plus the vents are on the side but at a sloping angle to the underside. My laptop overheats after about 3 minutes
Hey so this is not permanently fixed to the laptop right? I have an MSI GL62 6QF with exhaust vents on the backside, will it work for my model? Do all Opolar models work with rear exhaust vents? Sorry for so many questions, i do appreciate your replies
+Tomahawk1999 Sorry for the late reply. No, its nor fixed permanently. You can take it off when you dont need it. For the models with rear vents, it may not work for some, however you can mount the cooler if your laptop is not very thick.
Mg, i thought so u gonna try it on ur MSI Gaming laptop, because i have Titan Pro with Pascal Gpu and it's getting to be hot like a hell during gameplaying but u tested it on some 300 years old laptop...
+CRYPT from CATACOMBZ MSI dominator laptops never need a cooler, even playing the highest demanding game at highest settings. Dominator laptops are extreme beasts
During playing witcher 3 on ultra had set fan controll on auto and temperatures were 75°C for cpu and 81°C for gpu. By my opininion it's a bit high, isn't it
hey bro would this work with asus k55v? and does this block the vga port which i use to connect monitor because the vga port is close to my side vent? pls answer ;D
