@@meredithclark6580 best idea ever ^^ . . . but would have been wierd as he and "Cho" ended up in the pragnency video for buzzfeed, that would have had raised even more questions as the Ron/Cho happely ever after comments ^^
That actually isn't true, the chocolate bar was given to nick and matt by their parents & the show cost thousands of dollars that nick lang saved himself mostly
I agree. That line gets the best reaction before A Showstopping Number and it rightfully deserved to be here. Seeing Charlotte fully evil, with her organs hanging out and still hitting that note was powerful for me and genuinely scared me. Best set up for a song in history
Seems like half of these lines were picked because they were the best musically in the song, and then the other half were because of how much the audience/fanbase enjoys it!
my favourite line from the twisted song is this entire thing: "the question then 'tis whether it is nobler in the mind to be well liked but ineffectual or moral, but maligned?"
Tbh I think Holy Musical B@man has the most creative effects. It had more production value than the shows before it but not enough that you could just use more money to solve the problems. Plus, they had more fun stuff to do with the superpowers and off the wall characters. The costumes are real fun for that one.
@@alexskelofton Oh, I agree with that. I'm just talking like just the set design. I think that Starship had the most extensive set out of all of them, but production value wise, there are others that would be higher up on the list.
It’s really videos like these that really showcase the “aesthetic” these musicals have, with some underlying themes or musical styles that really tie the musicals together and make them all different from each other in more than just lyrics
But where was Duck Is Lord, Black Coffee, and Moana?!? 😂 But in all seriousness, I love this video!!!! And darn now I have to rewind because the keyboard on my iPad cut off Robert Manion's hips in Show Stopping Number 😂😂 Thank you for such a cool video!!!!!!
i swear to god if your fav line from twisted isnt "the question then ie whether tis nobler in the mind to be well liked but ineffectual or moral but maligned" ITS SO GOOD
1. I've never been so emotionally confused in my life, but I love it. 2. Oh God... all these lines are awesome and I love that you manage to slip in "Show Stopping Number" hip swing. Because duh. XD
And I wish we could escape it but let's face it now we're caught in the lie Play a riff on my heartstrings (play a riff, play a riff) You left meeee (left meee) A mighty fine well oiled, heavy engine, V-8, four wheel, seat warming, cup holding, air bagging, defrosting, child locking, freedom loving, fancy machine I swear to you I will always fight for your right, 'cause you shine so bright You know you are my favorite boy tooooy I don't know what is worse than feelin' like you're not a person and I want everyone to sing along Sami, Sami... Why can't you see What you're doing to me? Duder Duder Duder Duder Duder Duder Duer Duder Duder Duder Duder
Watch out, long. "Goin' Back to Hogwarts" - chorus, still. Second half of Draco's solo and 'Welcooooooooooooooooooooooooooooome' are close though. "Different As Can Be" - 'When I rule the world, I'll plant floweeeeeeeeeeeers , Became what I hated... '. "Inevitable" - 'THE APOTHEOSIS IS UPON US!!!'. "Cup of Roasted Coffee" with reprise, "Show Me Your Hands", "America's Great Again" - 100% agreed
I gotta say I appreciate the thought you put here, it was like a double-dose of Starkid (first the video, then this) ty I agree on your Starship ones and a few others, but it's cool how lines hit with people, yk?
I think it's cool how they (I think) referenced firebringer in trail to oregon. First reference: *Lauren* was the person to be "the fire" in wagon on fire Second reference: Lauren says "yabba dabba do" which is a catchphrase in the Flintstones *cough firebringer is set during that time cough cough*
Oh my god I love this list so much I would have put “If this life has an ending I’m glad that I’m spending this short little time with you” as the best line from The Way I Do just because I love that line so goddamn much But good list!!! Love you!!
lowkey disappointed you didn't use jaime's "it is time... TO DIIIIIIEEEEEEE" from join us and die like, everytime i hear that line i just have an absolute eargasm its amazing
This has just proven to me that Dylan is my favorite male Starkid. The amount of emotion he can convey with a single note is insane. Whether it's malice, regret, joy, fear--it just comes across so clear.
Personally my favourite line from Twisted from Twisted is “the question whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to be well liked but ineffectual, or moral but maligned” like that hits not only the heart but the soul ughhh
the growl in Lauren's voice at 9:48, the "not even you you stupid fucking storm" is quite possibly the best musical moment in their history so far. but honestly there's a few moments in Black Friday that may take that spot ;)
