That was one of THE worst college basketball games I've ever seen, from a purely objective standpoint. 44 fouls, sloppy as hell basketball...just a mess of a game. That said, I'm very happy to see Carolina win it all, and piss off Duke fans! Nothing is better than that! :-)
Jaylin Allen What a way to ignite a pro-Syracuse crowd. Lol. That dunk was VICIOUS. MONSTROUS. Jordan-esque. Sent the crowd into a frenzy. When I was watching the game, I said, "Holy S***!!!".
These are great moments. Some of the more crazier fans were seen during the UCLA at Oregon games in the early 1970s at MacArthur Court, the Pit. And boy was it a Pit when the Bruins came to town. Ducks won in 1971 and 1974 and the crowd was just insane. Can't find any footage of it online.
I guess you need a part 3....still missing: Patrick Sparks - UK vs Mich St 2003 Jodie Meeks - UK vs FL 2009 Demarcus Cousins - SEC Tourney 2010 Aaron Harrison - UK vs Michigan 2014 Aaron Harrison - UK vs Wisconsin 2014
this happened a couple weeks ago, so it would't be in this video, but when Syracuse won over Duke... John Gillion's buzzer beater three- pointer. the crowd went wild and everyone started storming the court. and they needed this win, too, but they still are in the bubble for the tournament.
Because the Kentucky State high school championship was going on at the same time in Rupp Arena and the women had a game scheduled in the on campus arena. So Kentucky just said screw it let’s just play it at Robert Morris. One of the best atmospheres you’ll ever see in an NIT game.
Qualls slammed that ball in on Kentucky. Then made highlight reels for the rest of the season. The following season they played AT Kentucky and had their asses handed to them. Qualls would go on to the pros but was no good and got cut.
Chris Kreager he just wasn’t athletic enough to play in Calipari’s system. He routinely was targeted on defense and abused by other teams that season. Kid couldn’t defend a light post. And Calipari doesn’t play zone. His recruitment was weird too. He committed without ever visiting. Which is understandable as Kentucky was hot at the time. Every kid they got ended up as a pro and Wiltjer got s championship ring while he was there.
