Ingredients (serves 2-3) to cook Methi Bhaji (Fenugreek Vegetable) at home:
• 1 small bundle of methi (fenugreek) chopped
• 3 medium sized onions finely chopped
• Oil
• Coriander for garnish
• 2-3 chopped green chillies
• 1/4 tsp hing (asafoetida)
• 3-4 crushed garlic cloves
• 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tsp sugar
• Salt according to taste
• Grated coconut

अर्चना काकु, खुप खुप धन्यवाद तुम्ही आम्हाला मेथीची भाजी शिकवील्याबद्दल..... पण एक गोष्ट सुचवितो कि, भाजी चिरून धुतल्याने त्याच्यातले 'ब' व 'क' जीवनसत्त्व निघून जातात. म्हणून भाजी धुवून चिरावे. धन्यवाद.

hi Archana kaki...tumchi receipe chaan ahe ..pan green leafy veges (pale bhajya) nehmi adhi saaf karavya mugh swach panyane dhuvavya...then you have to cut it... adhi chirun mug dhutli tar tyatle nutrients loss hotat panyat mug khaon kahi nutrients nahi milat body la...faqt chotha rahto mug..thats what it was taught in school...fakt ola naral takla ki kadvat pana jato...

sorry to say but, मेथीच्या भाजीची original test nahi lagnar अशी बनवून. शिवाय त्यातील सत्व पण गेलं निघून. कडवट पणा गेलाच पाहिजे पोटात.

Archana, like some other vegetables, methi does have its own Greenish taste but methi is also eaten for its bitter taste like karale. Those who cannot stand the bitterness, can eat any other non-bitter vegetables but it is not necessary to discover TRICKS to make methi less or non bitter. Washing, chopped vegetables, is in itself an unethical practice. It washes off not only the vita mins, medicinal and nutritious juices from the vegetable but also most of the TASTE. You are thus serving a, 'Methi-cha CHOTHA'. If you, yourself say that, " Nothing beats the healthy and nutritious homemade Methi Bhaji". "Yevhadhi uthathev kashala?. Kalave hi vinanti!".

the bitterness in methi leaves is good for health, i mean its medicinal. also we should not wash it after cutting it. it looses all its nutrition. adding sugar is also not right as it takes away most of the bitterness from the methi leaves and is surely not healthy. you can always eat other non bitter vegetables if you cant eat methi. methi is a vegetable which is by itself bitter n one should not tamper with its bitterness. eat it only if you can take its bitterness. thanks

Ashi bhaji banavali tar nakkich bhaji kadavat hoil... Mazhi aai fakta lasun, kanda aani mirachi tajate jara dekhil kadavat lagat nahi, aani mazhya aaichi methichi bhaji banavanyachi paddhat khup sopi pan aahe aani barech loka vicharatat ki kashi banavali mhanun...

Plz don't suggest to wash vegetables after cutting. Everything is lost. I wud request u to edit that portion so that new subscribers won't listen to tht portion. Secondly plz dont say take small bunch. If u say everyone will follow n listen so advice ppl to take big bunch n eat vati bharun. Rest procedure was excellent 👌

Recipe is good but wrong tip to Wash it after cutting, it will lead to loss of nutrients as well characteristic taste we need from Fenugreek. Best is to wash b4 cutting. 👍
