@Mr Salles Teaches English So just to confirm on the structure... You do OTTER for the first (favourite) poem, Then about 3 sentences to compare both, Then do OTTER again for the other poem, Then a conclusion.

Thank you for letting me know how many paragraphs I should write to get good grades. I used to write a lot of long paragraphs, but still only got average grades. Now, I don't write such long paragraphs anymore and I got an 8.

I’ve only recently discovered your channel and despite you doing AQA normally i still use your videos because they’re so informative and useful i just wish i’d found it before rather than now since it’s so close up to the exams. @Mr Salles Teaches English Where is context meant to be in this though? Should I just do a couple PEACE paragraphs instead of the two 'T's (which stand for technique)?

There is no real requirements for context in this question. The context is the poem itself. For example, if you know that exposure is written about Owens experience in the First World War, that’s half of sentence, and is all the contacts you need.

Does this still work if you do, like 4/5 paragraphs on one poem, answering the question, then do another 4/5 paragraphs on the second poem and compare similarities/differences of each section of the previous one? I did this today and it didn’t look right for me 😂

If I study 4 poems really well as well as the other 11 poems and then memorise those couple of comparative sentences for the comparisons between poems within each theme (just as I would memorise the thesis statement for the other texts), do you think I would get a grade 9?
