Thanks for the video. I bought a new helmet a day or so ago. After a short ride my ears were ringing much more than they ever have before. I purchased a set of these today and am just back from a ride. My ears aren't ringing at all. Whilst riding I passed a biker who had broken down and stopped to offer help. It was only after a few minutes talking to him that I realised that I hadn't taken the earplugs out.I could hear him perfectly. For me they are definitely worth the price.
I tried this and it didn't block out the wind noise for me. I made sure I followed instructions with pushing them inside my ears, and they almost came off when I removed my helmet due to how far they stick out. I don't recommend them.
My earbuds are shaped like these ear plugs. They are made by etymotic. I listen to music all the time. I have been doing it for 150,000 miles without any problems. The worst thing you can do is pollute your brain and ears with engine and wind noise.
Quite a bit more expensive, but I like the Bose QC30's. Fantastic isolation of wind and engine noise while still being able to pick up horns and up-close traffic. You have to be careful, because it will block out most traffic noise. Just unbelievable.
I just ordered these today, can't wait to try them out for myself. How well do they work for exhaust noise? My MT 07 is ridiculously loud if I take the baffle out of my Akra exhaust
I bought two sets exactly as in your video... I really fail to see (hear) what they do better than the ordinary ones about 70% cheaper?? I think it is a "theory" more than a practical issue. Where do the makers of this product get to the asking price? Probably 80% for the container and 20% for the actual plugs....
I bought the 'Earpiece' plugs, they have inter-changeable filters if you need more or less sound getting through. I found them really good, a bit more for your money than these I reckon. ($25) with aluminium carry case spare plug (you get 3) and replacement filters which are easy to change (kinda).
WD, have you heard of Alpine Safe? Its the same concept, yet with an extra twist. The Alpine Safe comes with an extra filter for blocking even higher noises. I havent tried them yet, so I cant attest how good/bad they are.
@@NikhilKumarM They were pretty good. Lasted me a while after I lost one of the plugs. They came in a handy little pouch with a zipper. They blocked the noise quite good, but i havent try any other brand, so.. I cant say how good
Are you aware that they make motorcycle specific one? They are called Auritech Biker. I have just ordered a pair. I'll let you know how I get on with them. Thanks for the review. It was most useful to me.
The Auritech Biker do an excellent job. I was sceptical about paying £20 for ear plugs but they reduce the wind noise without reducing too much of what you want to hear too. With my Scalarider Q3 in place, everything still sounds good. The wind is reduced more than the music and so is not drowning it out. I no longer have to restrict my music choice to louder songs.
these things suck BIG TIME, tried them myself today, just terrible if i may say so, why, because they dont fit in my ears for starters so really sucks dude
The reason you don't think that they fit is because you didn't lubricate them first. They need to be a tight fit to work. To lubricate them you suck on them for a few seconds each time that you use them and they will slide right in your ears.
I use 3M foam earplugs and they work great...except for long road trips. After more than one day, the foam earplugs cause serious pain. For this reason, I am considering my options in my quest to find earplugs that I can wear for road trips that last 3 or 4 or more days.
WickedDevil, I highly suggest DO NOT DO THIS. you will not be able to hear your engine/cars/ and emergency vehicles. On the other side, why not just throw ear buds in and listen to some music? Ride safe bro
The NoNoise EarPlugs block out wind and still allow you to hear cars and emergency vehicles. Wear ear plugs is safer for riding and safer for rider health. -Wicked Devil
