Been looking at these for a while but it's nice to finally see a real world review. Thanks for doing this and keep up the good work ... don't let the trolls drag you down
Hopefully you mention in the second video that first time buyers have to pay an ADDITIONAL $35 for the impression kit. So now it becomes a $100 mouth guard…
Came here to say this. It took me from making an impulse purchase to reconsidering my life choices and getting a $15 used cage like a responsible adult.
Hmm.. The way the mouthguard is cut looks like a copy of Gladiator mouthguards, who have patented that cut design (lack of mouthguard material behind the front teeth etc)
nice..i love that...but the one i use now since there is no TRUFIT here in UAE...and it might cost a lot...the next best thing that i use is SISU MOUTHGUARD for BJJ
You mentioned that the mouthguard with the splint is ideal for players wearing visors/no face protection, does that imply that the non splint version should be used by players wearing cages? Really informative video by the way. I might consider this mouthguard for field hockey as well!
Essentially yes but.. Could can wear whichever you prefer. I use the non-splint version and play with a visor (but my teeth aren't prefect anyway haha)
Yeah same here, I always wear a cage and was wondering if there are many advantages to wearing a mouth guard. Obviously we need less protection, but those compression pads might be useful even for cage wearer. Maybe something to explore for part 2.
I used to play rugby but then stopped and started ice hockey I am 12 so I have to wear a cage and I don’t wear a gum shield. Do you think I should get one of these in case of what happened to Darcy Kuemper when a stick went through his mask? Great to see a fellow British RU-vidr and ice hockey player!
