No doubt, Newari food must be great, but MOMO is Tibetan food, which came from Tibet, and later on, settled in the rest of the Himalayan region like Nepal and India. Wikipedia says so.

Not gonna lie he is correct that all the looks can be found in Nepal. Every look imaginable in the Asia continent can be found in Nepal, people will probably not believe that a person from the mountain region and terai region are from the same country since they'll look so vastly different. People that look like the typical Asian people and people that look like the typical Arabian/Indian people and everything in between can be found in Nepal. Nepal is a huge huge mix of cultures. Buddhism and Hinduism are almost intertwined together which I don't think anyone will see in any other country in the world.

@@misslama99 Whilst Nepal does take heavy influences from its closest geographical companions such as India, China and Tibet. @@runa6507 it's embarassing because most of this cuisines originated before India and Nepal were declared as countries. You cannot decide who is influenced by whom because the people who migrated from present day India to rule present day Nepal years and years ago were just a people who were a part of the Indian subcontinent. There are indigenous groups in Nepal who share genes with Tibetans, Chinese and India. We did not copy or get influenced. @Momo-Mandu what's wrong with eating beef? There are Non-Hindus in Nepal and they have no relationship with cows. Now we Nepalese need to support non-Hindus for their rights to eat beef in Nepal. We Nepalese need to request ex-King Gyanendra to advocate and support non-Hindus for their rights to eat beef in Nepal. We must request Chef Santosh Shah to support non-Hindus for their rights to eat beef in Nepal. We must allow non-Hindus to kill cows for food in Nepal. We need to legalize cow meat in Nepal so Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, and Kiratist can eat cow meat. India is a role model for Nepal because India is truly a democratic country. Out of 29 Indian states, 20 states prohibit cow slaughter but beef is legally and freely available in states like Bengal, Kerala, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Tripura. India is the largest beef market. The United States is the largest producer of beef in the world followed by Brazil, the European Union, China, and India. The United States is the largest consumer of beef in the world is followed by China and Brazil. India is in 6th place when it comes to consuming beef. All Nepali people support to legalize slaughter of cows for food. We are living in the year 2021 and not in 1921. There is no place for racism in Nepal.

Loved this. Am from southeast asia and i travelled to nepal with my friends couple of years ago, i remembered having amazing dhal bhaat that really does power u thru the day. And also yak milk/cheese samosas, and momos, and amazing hot tea...walking thru Kathmandu was like walking thru a whole new world. And there was a certain kind of puffed bread that we had alot in tea houses while hiking up poon hill -- it was delicious!

@Hatake Kakashi that's because theKkiratis have their origin traced to China. Even the DNA of the rai limbu have shown that they are very close to East Asian people. this is why the 2 host look like rai limbu gurung.

Nice. One note for your Nepalese pal: Tacos and burritos don’t come from South America. They come from Mexico, which is in North America. I just wanted to give a shout out to all of the Mexicans living in this country, who, as of today, will be living in a country whose primary administrator doesn’t hate them.

Also sukuti is actually buffalo meat and not cow meat as 80% of the population in Nepal is hindu. We don’t tend to eat cow beef but buffalo is the go to as it’s quite readily available other than chicken and lamb (mutton)
