Hey, great tutorial as always! I was wondering about your logs in your crafty asset pack... Which program did you use to create them? I'm guessing you used something like substance painter? Or maybe its all Blender and procedural... Very curious as I've been thinking about investing in substance painter!

Would be possible looping the animation seamlessly by this approach?

ways I've found to do this 1 make the texture coordinate object return to it's original position, you can do this by keeping it further on the right of the object you are deforming and then have it rotate 360 degrees, it'll make the texture look more like it's going up the further away you place it. 2 make two texture coordinate objects, and switch from one to the other by smoothly transitioning their influence on and off, any time you need one of the objects to return to it's starting position have it's influence at 0 and slowly bring it back up when it's at the right spot. to loop make sure each object is back at it's starting position by the end

@@juliocargnin Yeah, particle emission is hard to loop as it’s unpredictable, buuut, you can get the same effect with geometry nodes and those you can control manually and so you can use similar tricks as above

I think you could simply have the empty follow a perfect circle. I saw that technique on a Blender Today Show on procedural animation / music visualisation. Can’t find the video right now, but it even had a way to loop the particles IIRC. 🤔
