@@adambuckler1398 Hence why Gerstlauer said steel coaster. Also, they don't count Goliath due to it just being their parking lot. Besides, if we counted parking lots than Steel Venom would be counted as a support is in the parking lot.

I’ve said for ages that the Axis is going to Alton Towers, but we’ll know next week what Thorpe Park’s new coaster will be. Could be the Axis, Merlin do love a “world’s first” no matter how spurious.
I could walk to FunSpot Atlanta from my house. It's so awesome they are getting this coaster. They have just acquired more land and I wondered what they had planned.
I went there yesterday and the ride op for the E&F miller coaster said they already have a few more lined up. I brought up it would be dope if they had a raptor over the pond and he just smiled. Take that as you will.
Kind of a shame that Zamperla didn’t get as much love in the vote, but I love what they are doing with their new coasters. I’ve mentioned this before but I really feel like Zamperla is making a turn around with the quality of their coasters similar to what Vekoma did with Formula. Don’t sleep on their new coasters and they already are one of the best flat ride manufacturers so the Zetta Swing looks like a nice addition to their catalog. On another note while you focused on the Tonnerre Deux Zeus train Gravity Group also announced earlier this year their new pre-engineered wooden track that is said to be 30x stronger than normal wooden track. I expect this to be a game changer both with maintaining existing woodies and creating new ones! Great video as always and I especially liked hearing about the water rides and slides because those were new to me!
My opinion is that Zamperella has to really deliver on one of these new coaster designs for the public's image of them (as far as coasters go) to change. My fingers are crossed for them. The more quality coaster manufacturers out there competing with each other the better!

The Donna Italia caught me off guard 'cause I thought it was all just rides being talked about so I was waiting for like some pizza themed rollercoaster or flat ride to appear but nope, just pizza 😂 Like at the "easy to operate machines" bit I for some reason was expecting something like _this is the ride they made with their technology_ after ahahahahah
They can come replace Vortex at Kings Island with one of those nice little AXIS coasters. Nice ole plot of land where Vortex was, I say it is a nice fit for a nice big AXIS coaster.
I'd agree almost entirely except for the fact that, in my opinion, it'll probably end up going international first. We might be waiting for a while if it's in KI's future
Seeing Gravity Group’s work on that French coaster really has me curious what their re tracking on *The Beast* will involve. Like, I’m curious if The Beast will get new cars too. New cars are expensive, but Timberliners reduce maintenance, add theming, and unlock more of a wood coaster’s potential.
you know, that's a great point! im a KI homeparker, and the re-tracking on Racers bumped it way up in my opinion. I personally think that'd be a great thing to have more theming, but Beast is so historically significant it's almost hard to imagine they would replace the trains...
@@legendwingz0161 I'm iffy on the trains. Like 50/50. On the one hand, they are classic, and would be expensive to replace. On the other hand, timberliners would undoubtedly be more comfortable for riders, and reduce stress on the ride too.
In my opinion, The Beast is very much unlike most wooden coasters. It focuses on speed and length, and I feel like more airtime would take away from its surreal experience.
@@ThemeParkCrazy Yes, the retracking should focus more on speed than airtime. Many hope it will reduce or be able to fully remove the Beast's many trim brakes, to unleash more of that speed for longer. The Beast being able to keep that 60mph+ speed longer would be amazing. However, a few small airtime moments in one of the long straight sections could still be beneficial.
Personally I think the new shoot the chutes is the most exciting thing. I love water rides and have been disappointed in the lack of innovation in that sector in the last ten years. The rest of the stuff is neat and I can’t wait to ride Arie Force One but it’s honestly nothing that new or original. Also with Zamperla the new flat rides look fun but the rollercoasters are nothing new. I was excited when I heard Zamperla was making a hyper coaster only to be disappointed by skyrocket II electric boogaloo. I’ve never been a fan of skyrocket II style attractions as they are really uninspired and are designed to be cloned to death. I almost think of them more as a flat ride than a coaster. I’m sure it’s going to be thrilling and fun but it’s not something I find excitement for.
Come over to Phantasialand in Germany and ride Chiapas, then you'll experience the best log flume on earth. It is so much fun and i guess it will offer what you are looking for And the Park also has Taron and Fly and BlackMamba and River Quest and Winjas and Mouse o chocolat and Colorado adventure!
The coaster at 4:19 is in a small town just outside of Mears, Mi called Silver Lake. Just saw it last weekend and it looked fun and interesting. Pretty cool that small amusement parks can still get unique rides.
That pump tower reminds me of a helicopter ride we used to have at our tiny amusement park here in Shreveport decades ago before it closed, the helicopters could go up and down in the air swiftly if you lifted the bar in front of you. I loved that ride.
I don’t know why I’m only just seeing this! My dad works as a design engineer in ride manufacturing, and almost always attends IAAPA. Before now, I had never seen what it was like there, now I want to go with him next time!
Six Flags was probably interested in the E&F P’Sghetti Bowl coaster model by knowing that it includes the lighting package, they first bought one for SFFT and then another one for SFOG for their 2023 editions
As soon as we heard European park, i immediately went for alton towers, not only for them being the worlds first but when you think about a themed axis coaster would go perfectly in the x-sector. My guess its Secret weapon 9
It's going to be exciting trying Palindrome out, I love the Circuit of the Americas, right here in my home state, and having a newly designed coaster will kick up the excitement and praise The Circuit brings in.
I have a friends that work at sally corp and he sent me a picture of one of the animatronics for Valcanu. It was kind like a lava magma looking hydra dragon. It looked cool so I am excited to see it in real life.
They should out an axis cluster at one of the smaller cedar fair parks so thus way they get a new ride finally and that way cedar fails can test out the new model and see if they want to build one atone of their bigger parks
11:10 Okay, can we stop for a moment to discuss how lifelike these animatronics are? If you hadn't told me otherwise, I would have been thinking they were employees in cosplay for quite a while! We've come a long way in the robotics field, that's for sure.
I've always went to the two fun spots in Florida as a kid because I love less than an hour away then when we heard the news of fun spot Atlanta opening we went there and there was so much land just sitting there ( btw this was 2017) and it was low key a tiny bit boring but now that's opened or opening soon I really wanna go back
14:22 ah yes. chance rides makes a completely different coaster and says it's the same model, while Vekoma makes a coaster with a slightly different layout and bam it's a completely seperate model!
Star Wars Galaxy's Edge at Walt Disney World Hollywood Studios should definitely get at least a family oriented version of the axis themed to podracing. Also, I'm not surprised that FunSpot Atlanta is getting such a big ride. The Funspot parks are small parks that punch WAY above their weight class with their centerpiece attractions, despite mostly just having a few flat rides, an arcade and some Go-Karts.
when you mentioned the new RMC in georgia i thouvjt it'd be replacing great american scream machine at SFOG of which i was disappointed it wasn't but still cool that fun spot is getting a big ride
@16:14 Have you tried a Max Flight Simulator? It can’t do side force like a Scrambler ride. I have ridden one, three different times now, fantastic experience. Find one and try it!
I’m am very happy to see skyline stop making those dumb coasters where you go through the same elements over and over and will actually start making somthing that looks fun

An Axis coaster would be a great replacement for KD’s Volcano…calling it Onina which is Volcano in the Yoruban language. Most of all it must be highly themed.
