I do find it interesting how we loved him more than anyone else at that company for 10 years, and that didn't matter after a single week. What he did was awful. But does that invalidate the reasons we liked him or the reasons we enjoyed watching his content? I don't know, it's just something that's bothered me. It hurts knowing he did those things to those women. He can't come back from it. But I also have to decide if I can still enjoy his content or not
@@Colayith If it helps, think of the person on screen as a character. Just as there are actors we like who play awful characters and we still love them, there are great characters played by awful individuals. Helps to compartmentalise, separate the art from the artist.
Here's the thing, support the art not the artist. Anything he is in that's on RT's channels or site, he doesn't make a penny off of. So you can watch it and not support him. And watch youtube videos. His streams and channel though I can't watch.
@@Colayith I cant "decide" to enjoy his content anymore because it just reminds me of that shit every time i see him now. Just like i cant "decide" to like Lindsays comical contrubutions most of the time (nothing personal its just not my cuppa)
The problem is, the Artist used that art to abuse his audience, if the guy cheated on his wife with non AH fans, I would have no problem watching his vids despite what him being a cheater. But he abused the love he got from the videos he created to prey on us, the AH community, and that is unforgivable
My favorite part of this is in the cuts between Lindsay's "I got this, bro" and Jeremy's "Please don't get this, bro" accompanied by all the screaming at 1:26
... I would ask why Ryan has a Spiderman suit, but then I remember he has 2 kids. And that's what I hope it's used for. Also, we need more Old Man Jeremy/Michael to turn this year around some more.
I feel like Jeremy is one of the most down to earth members of AH. I don't know how to explain it, but I feel like he's the one person I would really get along with, and not feel intimidated by. But that may or may not have to do with the fact he's only 2" taller than me, and he's from a couple towns over from my family.
The clip where he’s on stream as Spiderman, “itskaylamarie” donates bits to him, she was one of the people who came out with a story on the RT subreddit. Weird to see now.
Eh, you get used to it. Going from no mention to seeing them in a video is a shock for any former member (let alone one with a sordid past), but you see him in enough stuff, and you get used to it. I never really find myself laughing at his contributions, even if I once did, but I just kinda tune him out as white noise and hone in on the others.
So I don’t play Dead By Daylight (and am not the smartest person). Can anyone that does tell me why Jeremy wanted Lindsay to stop wriggling on the hook in that one clip?
If Lindsay had stop tapping and died, Jeremy would have been the last survivor. Being the last survivor opens the trap door which allows the survivor to instantly escape.
It's sad what he's going through right now considering to leave the camera scene behind because of how much drama he gets into recently. I really do wish him well and hopes he takes everything into consideration. Now what I'm going to say next is what I think all the controversy that just popped up recently was about (because I don't think we know for a fact yet.) I heard he made a joke on the latest golf it video by customizing his ball with a Indian stereotype. So with that in mind I don't want it to seem like the support I'm giving is turning a blind eye to what he did. I imagine it offended some people and that's what sparked the drama but I think he shouldn't be too hard on himself for a poor joke. Seriously, though, if he truly wants to get away from all the drama and leave the entertainment spotlight I wish him the best.
Tbh if people are reacting negatively I think they’re overreacting. The joke wasn’t that bad, and Achievement Hunter has made worse jokes with almost no flak
@@AnonymousNeptune Yeah, in my opinion as well I don't think any of the jokes that I remember him getting in drama for were ever truly bad jokes. But it I do imagine there are some people that are genuinely upset and that's why Jeremy gives in and apologizes.
@@AnonymousNeptune They have told plenty of offensive jokes in the past, but in the off topic with Fiona they said they regret those jokes and won't make them again. So it makes sense that people want them to actually stick to their words including Jeremy who was on that off topic.
