I love how Jack has changed over his years at AH, he’s definitely learnt to not take stuff too seriously a lot of the time and allow himself to chill and have more fun, and it’s great to see!
Definitely agreed. The man used to irritate me about a decade ago (I started watching AH at 2011 so almost a decade) because of his serious demeanor and how he’d bring up “the good ol’ days” with Geoff, but now I love him ever since he stopped taking things too seriously years back
He's so obnoxious in a lot of the early Minecraft ones. But now something happens like Trevor blew up his chickens and he takes the anger to comedic levels then lets it go. Perfect reaction that makes for funny moments instead of uncomfortable ones.
I remember not liking Jack initially, but over the years I’ve come to really appreciate him in content! Thanks as always for making these compilations!

These past weeks have sucked to be an AH fan, and undoubtedly sucked even more to be an Ah member. And yet, if any good has come out of all the horribleness, it's that it seems everyone has learned to appreciate all of AH. And none more than Jack Pattillo, who is undeniably the heart of Achievement Hunter (a sentiment that I believe Geoff would happily endorse). Thanks so much of reminding me what the entertaining, gentle, Gavin abusing man that Jack is.

Fun fact regarding that last clip: Calling someone a "pussy" isn't referring to where the sun don't shine, it's just a shortening of the long, kind of pretentious sounding word "pusillanimous" meaning cowardly or timid. The word itself coming from "pusillus" meaning "very small" in Latin, and "animus" meaning "mind" also in latin.
Thing is, through time it has become slang for vagina, most likely through misogyny and the viewing of women as weak and lesser. So in a modern context, calling someone a pussy has become equivalent to calling someone a vagina plus the original meaning of the word

Another great showing of examples of why he may not be the *best* Achievement Hunter... but the group wouldn't be quite the same *without* him. Not a favorite, but *greatly* appreciated. An enabler of truly great comedy, and the occasional supplier of the snappiest of burns.

When he first started, he was rather uptight and just did his own thing if he was too angry. He loves poking the bear which some folk find grating (especially for Ryan fans before the incident). And he’s very outspoken (and sometimes self-righteous) about his liberal political beliefs, which many conservative fans hate. I myself love his sense of humor and his compassion for others, but those are the main reasons I’ve seen people complain about Jack.
Well, from what I know about rockets, it's only the very top part that actually has the astronauts in it, and everything else comes off when it goes through the atmosphere, so in a way, it did exactly what it was supposed to LOL
Caiti got a point at the end: for all the flak a vagina takes, it takes a considerable amount of pressure to squeeze a human being out of it, sometimes more than once at the same time and it can still keep on. Testicles, on the other hand, are the foil strength-wise. The complex system of nerves compromises just about any sense of safety. Those things need an athletic cup and even then safety isn't a given.
