Personally I love that line because it’s one of the few times he interacts with anybody in the series and he’s not being a snarky prick to people or being told to shut up
@@PlutosWorld The original comment includes a reference to "fat dog for midterms" a Chang line from season 5. The "too soon" comment is another reference to the same episode.
Leonard: "Hey guys! Thanks for eating all the Macaroni!" Jeff: " Shut up Leonard! No one even knows what you're talking about!" ... "I did eat all the Macaroni. It's messed up that he knows".
Rewatching the show, I got to that episode today and I must have rewinded this one second long "where the white women at ?" Over 15 times because of how good it is
Walking up to someone and saying "unsubscribe" like you don't want to see their presence anymore like you would an unwanted email from a megacorporation is fucking incredible
Out of all the roles Richard Erdman had in film and television, I bet he never thought that his most memorable role would be as a weird old man in a bizarre sitcom. You can tell he must've had a blast on this show. He will be missed. I hope the movie pays tribute to him.
Long time ago one of my favorite films was a black and white 1951 Dick Powell melodrama set in LA called "Cry Danger." Powell's character had a buddy in the film, a disabled former Marine. Flash forward to Community. It took me the longest time to realize that it was the same Richard Erdman in both roles. The film is good in its own right and well worth checking out.
"Eat paint you Stormtroopin' City college knob gobblers!" as Leonard domes a guy in the face is such an epic, hilarious line. One of my favourite things about community is the side characters who appear randomly and completely steal the episode with their lines
It isn’t in this video but the Pillows and Blankets interview with Leonard had me laughing for five minutes straight when it changed it said “Veteran, Korean War” then “North Korean army”
I know Season 4 was a stinker, but it had probably my favorite moment with Leonard, where the dean asked how his work on the "fog machine" was going, and his only response was "Memories will be made tonight!"
