I had severe skin allergy after applying minimalist vit C.. I suffered a lot from burning sensation itching and blebs around the lips..😞 initially I thought it may be due to mixing vit C and niacinamide together. After recovering once again I tired both separately.. Same suffering again from vit C.. I am still scared to use this brand

Loved it, going to try the Alpha Arbutin, have been using the Moisturiser and the Salyclic Acid and the face wash. nice to see they have new packaging. I am still using the tub black colored packaging. One question, since most of these serums are mostly for PM, how do you recommend using it? 1 day Salyclic, another day Niancimide etc ?

Hi Shweta. Love your content. Please tell us your views and recommendations about Minimalist Vit C. Perhaps a comparison between the Beginner vs Advanced formulation. Been using the beginner for about 6 months with super slow but definite results and have been wondering if I should move up the concentration or stick with the original - also, how does one decide when to move to higher concentrations!? Please also suggest how one can build a serum routine. E.g. how does one accommodate Salicylic, Niacinamide, Vit C, Alpha Arbutin, AHA PHA exfoliant etc in a regime?

Yaaaaay !!! I suffer from perioral dermatitis and can’t really use any skincare as it flares my skin and I tend to get dry skin( patches ). I needed a sunscreen very badly that really doesn’t flare the PD . I got their sunscreen it’s a dream . in my recent vacation to a country in GCC this sunscreen protected nourished and just made my skin feel so bright and glowy loved it . For the first time in life I found a sunscreen which doesn’t irritate my skin , I feel grateful to this brand ❤️

The Salicylic cleanser, PHA Toner, salicylic acid serum, Niacinamide 5% and Vitamin C serums are my holy grail. I ran out of the serums couple of months ago and within a week, blackheads were back. So I always stock up on these. Minimalist has some of the best products for oily and sensitive skin tbh.

Thanks for this. I tried their spf50 sunscreen and I absolutely hated it. It stung my eyes like crazy and just did not work for me. But must say that their customer service was good. Very responsive.

For me, their staple is their Niacinamide 10% + Zinc which has euk-134 and HA now. It has changed my skin since I started it in Dec 2020. I have used the 5% older formula twice but it was not for me. I think I needed the Zinc for me. And only 10% had that. Sepicalm moisturiser is also a staple I have been using alongside. Love its hydration although the skin sweats in Kerala weather. Even their Vit B5 moisturiser for oily skin makes me sweat too much, and in that sense Sepicalm is better. The SA serum - am back to it after the new formula was launched. The cleanser - I have been using it ever since launch and restocked it all along. But the product is too liquidy for the tube so I actually transferred to its old bottle. Also the toner, haven't bought another brand after I started this. I have the SPF 50 which absorbs easily but it is not for the eye area. The slightest amount stings the eyes like hell. Also I find that this sweats a lot in this humid calicut weather. Have also ordered the Alpha Arbutin for my husband now for his bad tan and dullness.

lightest to the heaviest... choose a timing since the serums mentioned here can be applied morning or evening... I would keep salicylic and Alpha Arbutin at night .. and niacinamide in the morning, face wash- toner (not neccesary)- treatment serums - moisturiser or face oil
