It's because MUSE isn't just a band, they are on a COMPLETELY different level of genius musicians! No one can come close. And, they are mainly a 3 piece band! I've been in a couple of 3 piece bands-so, I know how difficult it is to FILL THE SOUND! If 1 person fucks up, it's over....
Inviting Muse to perform live and not letting them actually performing live is insultingly stupid, it's like having Harry Houdini as a guest and not putting him in shackles.
Or inviting people to your house for a party, but they start complaining about how high the entrance fee, entertainment fee, food fee, and alcohol fee costs! 🤣
i'm italian. i saw it live. i saw the trolling. i love muse. it was fun... and good they did that to unprofessional crew of people ... for sure many of them haven't realize yet. and dont think all italians are the same, thanks . cheers

I think it's better to watch Muse "playing" (but also admitting) that they are in playback, than watching a stupid trap/rap "singer" who pretends to sing. :)
Idk what some of these shows were thinking tbh They know muse never play the solo on things like supermassive black hole the same as the album they always experiment and make weird sounds

Or, admittedly in a different genre, Orbital ‘performing’ Chime on TOTP. They unplugged their synthesisers, put the plugs on full display, and just stood there basically doing nothing wearing anti-Poll Tax T-shirts and occasionally twiddling a knob for three minutes.
I think they show it fake on porpose, maybe because the sound system is not good enought for their song. Check out they concert. You'll get what i Mean.
0:24 this part was shown in a video here in spain at new years eve 2020/2021 where they were talking about music evolution lol (you even can see the logo of the spanish tv jeje)
