What I admire about Steve's Australian shows is that he has adapted to the cultural humour of Australia and not insisted that the North American show rules must be strictly adhered to. He has figured early that, unlike in the USA, stand up comedy *is* considered a participation sport. Steve has no sticks firmly lodged up his bum. And that is admirable. It would also make the long distant flight from North to South more comfortable.
Can/John looked like he was struggling to get the reference until the phrase "airline seat". Then he retroactively understood the entire show up to that point all at once.
Especially these ones! Their roasts are solid, but they’re not mean. Some comedians don’t seem to understand how to be funny without being cruel. Skills issue.
