Just got notified of his passing, absolutely devastating. Comedians are the ones who make the world shine bright with laughter - the best of all emotions. Sad that one of the brightest has gone. RIP.
RIP Sean - you will be sorely missed, you genius. I can't remember if it was this year of BFQ where he took the mickey out of John Hurt - "I'm a charming drunk!". "Yes, as he pisses on the end of the bed!" Too funny.
@@wiggi0620 You are absolutely correct, he was only on BFQ once - I'd obviously missed that important clue! Yes, a few more appearances would have been brilliant, especially the last few years where the guests have been a little lacklustre at times.
He reminds me of Peter Cook, in that his talent was far too great for most of the television he ended up making, but just grateful he found any kind of platform. One of the funniest people who has ever lived.
Gone but not forgotten. Thank you Sean, you've got so many of us through lockdown. I must have watched this bit on the Mitchellbrooke(?) primary kids 20 times. Still gets me every time...true legend, RIP
I feel bad for not spending more time binge-watching Sean Locks moments across Countdown, Big Fat Quiz, QI and the other shows he's been on over the years. Absolute masterclass of a comedian. Definitely be missed by many, family and friends. RIP Sean. 💙
Really sad to hear about Sean. But thankful that so much of his brilliant comedic talent is captured on YT. Realized I have still so much to see. Thank you Sean for bringing so much joy and laughter into our lives and continuing to do so even though you're not physically here.
Vyturys Jokubauskas he very well could've said "congratuwelldone" considering there was a bit in an earlier quiz where Jonathan Ross said that "congratuwelldone" was a new slang all the kids were using. it was a funny bit.
This was one of the best ensembles. Sean and James was immense. Claudia and McIntyre were also a fun combination. Dara is always a laugh for his accent alone, Davina was great as well especially with the booing.
Got me through some tough times when I needed a laugh this fella, I am upset over the death of someone I never met, but also felt like i've known for 10 years. RIP Sean Lock you absolute legend.
Sean hardly looks any different here in 2008 than he did this year. What a brilliant man, loved the bit about the kids. They were shite as kids are 😂. RIP mate x
Ahhhhh, back when James Corden was somewhat funny. Seems like a lifetime ago. Still, pretty sure Sean was a massive help to him on this one. Rest Easy undisputed carrot in a box king
Yeah, why not just leave it at that, everyone? True enough on the positive side, Tom... so why so much hate here? I don't get why people feel this need. Geezus H. Keeerr-rist, people, you've got a channel clicker, don't you?!
Dear Chanel4, when you do record the next Big Fat Quiz please please please mention Sean Lock, after all we are family and we loved him. so do your duty to him and to us, the fans of his great comedy talent..RIP Sean. ( i hope you still read comments from 4yrs ago)
Surely there's a "Best of James Corden" compilation entirely consisting of him laughing his ass off from Sean's jokes. Can't blame him. He's fucking hilarious :D
This my first celebrity were i genuinely feel sad I actually howl with nearly everything he did he is without a shadow of a doubt my comedy hero ill be showing my kids like my grandad did with me his greats 👍❤😥😔
I actually disagree. She was the perfect part for him to play off of. If she hadn't done her little panto thing, he wouldn't have had an excuse to keep ramping it up the way he did so brilliantly. She didn't realize it, but she just kept giving him more and more ammo. :D
@@NathanielHarari exactly. If she hadn't started booing then Sean wouldn't have gotten to the part about getting hit in the face with a broom. That's my favorite part lmao
