Vin D. forced edge is merely the conduit for spardas power. forced edge arguably in my opinion has no actual latent power of its own, only that it's the container and amplifier of spardas vast demonic power. yamato itself was what caused the rift to the demon world while the energy of Sparda in forced edge is what kept it open. plus yamato is a one shot anyone blade due to judgment cut ignoring all defence. forced edge may grant enormous power but it's not capable of one shoting absolutely everyone

don't get me wrong they're both absolutely amazing blades but yamato takes the cake for me.

sorry if it seems like I'm going on a rant but I'm curious as to your opinion about something. I believe Spardas wife Eva forged all 3 weapons from demons themselves. I think forced edge is obviously a fang while rebellion is the body of a demon contorted to become a blade while the bones being used to make yamato. rebellion being the blood and life force trapped in a perpetual state of rage and agony while yamato being a soul eternally torn in limbo

Well, he is just incredibly strong in this game on point, second slot, or anchor. But as anchor, he's probably the best character in the game. Every other player in a tournament has him on the team. So if you're a player, you have to deal with his absurd amount of BS and if you're a spectator, you get tired of seeing this character pop up again and again with the same style of play. I play Cap, Doom, Vergil and I've gotten my fair share of hate for using Vergil

I would say yes. It’s probbaly really cheap to pick up now and you have a good pro player to model your game plan after with K-Brad. I don’t play it competitively anymore, but i do hop on it from time to time to do combos for fun!

The Symbol of Peace His actual character is not the problem. His overpowered utilization in a fighting game like this makes him a frustrating character to beat for other players.

Ke Fa Vergil is mainly the best as anchor, point he's not that good , he has bad air mobility, and relies on a lot of meter which naturally saves up as anchor. As point he requires heavy top tier assist. Doom overall is a better character,doom doesn't struggle with keep always, he has more than enough tools to get around that and has very good zoning himself. Plus doom has the best assists in the game, tac infinite, and is overall good in any position you put him in.

Doom on point is garbage and he has a ton of bad matchups.

Vergil would be amazing as part of the main story. They could easily have Jedah resurrect him with the Soul Stone and have him be convinced of trying to obtain the other infinity stones on the grounds that Vergil wants more power.

Doubt he could do what he does in the regular DMV games. These controls are most likely different.

@Damsen Fighting game controls and general gameplay mechanics are very different. It's a different beast playing an enemy than a pre-programmed AI. He's great as a combo-artist and could potentially be a great fighting gamer (maybe even already is off-screen), but he hasn't proven himself in front of everyone in that arena yet.
