When you look games from that era, games like Driver SF, Blur, Burnout, NFS HP 2010, TDU etc.. every game was different and unique.. we dont get that anymore
Is it just me or midnight club los Angeles feels like a fast and furious game beneath the skin I mean , it had la as main city , bikes and cars also cops and it really captured that first fast and furious movie vibes were it was all about street racing and family but now It is only family and crazy stunts 😂 . This list is pretty good and I highly agrees with this list but you still forgot about some modern gems like nfs heat , nfs 2015 , forza horizon 3 and 4 , crew , crew2 and crew motorfest , I mean basically the first two crew games had the whole usa . And the hawai island in crew motorfest is also preety good .
@@Victor_2000s oh yeah forgot about that but that game was so good why can't ubisoft add an offline patch for it so that players can atleast play , now even if you bought it from steam or other stores you can't play it and that is so bad. But all hope is not over as I heard that a modders community is trying to mod crew to add a offline patch that would be good atleast we would be able to play one of the best open world racers out there
Rockstar Games used The Fast and The Furious as inspiration for the Midnight Club games: many of the cars in MC3 and MC:LA were in the F&F films (Nissan Skyline R34 GTR, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, Mitsubishi Eclipse 2G & 3G, Volkswagen Jetta etc) and some of the characters' designs are inspired by characters from the F&F movies (Dice from MC2 is inspired by Dominic Toretto, the main character of MC:LA is inspired by Brian O'Connor etc).

Om... my friend did you time travel back to good old days as half these game i played ( except for the test drives, burnout, forza horizon 2 and1 but i did test drive 02 ps2 game were is point to point so that make its almost open world😅) anyway thanks TheBoss gaming in giving me nice nostalgic call back so have a good weekend bye now. P.S. Hey Theboss Gaming i left a comment on the last video of lamborghini murcielago hope you can see it got to go bye now.
Many will disagree with me on this but I think racing game developers should stop trying to make massive maps and instead give us three or four smaller maps in one game instead like in Midnight Club 2 and 3. It would add more variety to the maps and it would make each game feel like its own separate world from each other.
I lowkey hope NFS ditches the open world in favor of a linear stage-select system with diverse tracks, at least for the next game. That alone would set it apart from its more generic competitors
It does, it was separated from main gameplay, you can choose any cars and take a ride, kinda like early Driver games and 2 earlier Midtown Madness games
