Thanks for showing the misses man. RU-vid is great because you can see all kinds of people but it also gives the impression that you will always be covered in ducks and every shot you take will land. It's easy for beginners like my kids to get discouraged when that's not the way it goes.
Man I tell ya what it sure does suck to not be able to watch your Kansas public land hunts anymore, the solo kayak mallard hunts are something I rewatch all the time
love this channel, always humble no matter how many birds are shot. very good influence for the younger generation and i think every waterfowl hunter needs this same mindset. love the vids!
Good video. Lessons to be learned today. Don't leave a small pond till 11:00- use an open choke on small water. That pond looks like a good place to go out at 9:00in the morning and take a nap and wait for the loafers to come in.
Excellent video as always Josh! I’ve been watching since 2016 and I always love seeing you get after it! Hunts like this one are some of the most wholesome experiences regardless of how many birds you get on the board. Keep it up Josh I’m so excited to see all the content that this season produces! Best from RI!
I know I’m late but great video as always keep the positive mindset you are always setting good examples for the next generation hunters proud of you 👏🏻
I have heard of the rules on filming kansas public lands. I believe some of the reservoirs that are army corps can be filmed and monetized aswell as possibly the national wildlife refuges like flint hills.
Awesome vid man! I love watching your content. I just shot my first drake wigeon and I’m from Florida so that’s rare for me. Good luck this season have fun stay safe
Great video and loved to hear some of your “origin story”. 😂 My channel is small but it hear you about getting traction. I can’t figure out what the secret formula is yet.
Saw you at BB Wednesday. Wanted to say something but didn’t want to be weird haha. Would have invited you but we already had 4. Keep the videos coming bro!
Always fun to watch your videos Josh. Just read through the public land info. I guess you're going to make some more trips up here to Nebraska and I show you some spots in Iowa too. We had a good one over in Iowa. I got all teal but had to take one Spoony just for you. It never fails... as soon as you start picking up, the ducks show up! I've been watching your hunts since way back in the 2k sub days and still can't wait to see what's next.
Hahaha they get me with that during pick-up every single time bro. It never fails. Unless i carry my gun around the whole time while picking up. Then it doesnt. 🤦♂️
Where in MO are you hunting? I've got a cousin who lives in Smithville and I plan to make a trip from TN to MO to hunt Smithville lake with him in December.
I can't film videos that I make money from. Not even possible to pay for a permit like what is required on federal lands. The state doesn't even want to give us the time of day to even have a discussion.
I get it that it’s frustrating to not be able to continue to monetize your Kansas hunts - but is RU-vid monetization really the only reason you still duck hunt? Kinda sad that the meat, the time working your dog, and the love of the sport aren’t enough of a driver to make you 1) go hunt with the camera off? or 2) make un-monetized videos simply for the love of it all
