Wow! Ilove the food at "the summit", simply unique and one of it kind, only found in Miri. The rice wrap in the leaf is a must to be eaten with the cooked meat & vegetables.

Oh, one more place to visit in Miri. I'm Mirian so I suggest visiting the Lambir Waterfalls, I've had an experience staying there and swimming at the Waterfall during a school trip and it was fantastic. But if you're swimming there, I suggest you don't swim so far near the area that's blocked off because that part of the place is super deep.
Miss Miri. Daughter attended Curtin Uni many years back and Miri was practically our adopted town then. My mouth watered at the sight of Kelabit food infront of you, Nick. 😋
Oh wow, i find it rather sad the bungalows were demolished. I grew up in Miri and i remembered those houses being very nice almost colonial style with the elegant street lights. The whole area was quiet away from busy town, Ive been into 1 or 2 of those back then. I feel its good idea to turn the area to nature reserved but should also maintaining the houses as part of the identity of the area. Here in Singapore, govt take very good care of those old houses as part of the history.. What a shame and thank you for the update Nick. Great vids as always!!
