I donno why people are taking it in a negative way. This man has shared a wonderful perspective about life. Pata nahi logo ko kya ho gaya hai. Achchhi cheeze hazam hi nahi hoti ajkal.

Why honest answers are not appreciated in upsc. Everyone lie.

The interviewer should then ask him: then tell me about your worst experience 😅

It would have been good if he had shared a specific example, the learnings from the failure and how he plans to or have already overcame it.

My biggest failure: I didn't enjoyed my School life as I should've done😢,I just kept on studying thinking that this is the only way I can enjoy my life and achieve success but it was not... That's why i hope that I could just restart my school life and don't make those mistakes that I did that time,Sitting at the corner of the class...Alone...😔

One thing i am sure of upsc interview is that, Interviewer dont carry answersheets and candidates dont answer straight forward

People saying he's telling his perspective on failure, well that right there is a way to answer the question without getting into details. If he'll talk about his failures then he'll be put in a position to share about his failures and his learnings from those failures, how will he address them now or in the future when in service. So, he actually answered it the way he should. And yes, obviously he has memorised it, many do that, the more optimistic attitude is there, high chances of people wanting to be near you and getting selected. Also, he's an IAS Officer now, Aditya Sharma with AIR 70 in Panjab. So, yeah better not judge someone when you're not at that position or simply don't speak ill about someone when you have nothing good to speak about. So be kind and spread kindness and happiness.❤

I agree with his point of view before failing I used to think like the way people in comment section are saying but when I failed it felt like an experience

Why people can't say the truth be more practical in answers. I think these defined statements in real life is not going to help them when they have to face tough people. Interviewer also should some useful questions that tests his patience and intellectual .
