Yesss Finally Found Someone With A Similar Hair Type😭🙌🏾 Relaxed Low Porosity Hair, I’m Newly Finding Out I Have Low Porosity & I’ve Been So Clueless On What To Use, Thanks For Sharing! New Subbie📲🤗
Thank you SO much for this video, best video on low porosity products I've seen!! I love how you explained everything clearly and mentioned ingredients and what each product's strengths are, and love that you're inclusive of relaxed hair folk!! Keep it up!! 💛
Thank you so much for making this video. I'm starting to believe that I too have low porosity hair. And this video will help me create a more hands on approach towards creating a low porosity hair regimen.
I usually don't take the time to sit through hair products reviews. I always find my self fast forwarding after 2 min of watching, all of a sudden I'm just skimming though barley getting the information I need. I think its cause every talk soooo much and share so much info I loose interest and don't feel like watching anymore lol. but I have to say I actually sat through this whole video, very well said, very informative, straight to the point and you just make it sound all so interesting! I can tell you really love this, thank you so much I think I'm going to go with mielle products or TGIN. Gotta think about it. But it seemed like you saved the best for last.
Bro they canceled the Shea moisture one I am soo annoying.... the leave in is amazing 😉 Update I called them and they said the more ppl call they might bring it back
I found it at Marshall's, I bought all 3 bottles of shampoo they didn't have the conditioner. My hair shedded alot, I hope it isnt old and gonna make me bald!🤦🏾♀️ My hair is growing so long tho.
Are all of these products coconut oil free too. If we're suffering from protein overload, we need to stay away from that as well. Temporarily of course, until we get rid of the protein overload and start to develop the perfect balance between protein and moisture. We don't forever/fully stay away from protein and coconut oil.
Great advice and thank you. Do you have any more recommendations of shampoos for low porosity hair since the Shea Moisture shampoo is a clarifying shampoo and not to be used as often?
Can you suggest a good shampoo to use frequently on low porosity dry hairs. In this video you mentioned only cleansing shampoo and conditioners only. Most importantly I loved you video.
I've tried everything. Now using clove water for growth. Using African Pride Moisture Miracle products for my low porosity hair for moisture. Hair not growing. Are these products good
Hey mariaman, if you were asked to pick only one leave-in from this video , the one that is the most moisturizing for extremely dry hair and also one deep conditioner from this video , which 2 products would you stick with?
Hair gotz that body yady yady, so much that it looks like a wig. I am about to get or already have all the products mentioned. I am protein overload. My hair is so stiff and shedding.
Hey ima guy n I'm starting to grow out my hair i been having short for the longest n hair wasn't really important to me can the use the low porosity shea moisture leave in for a leave in for my hair too?
Hi! This was an awesome video ! Thank you ! I have a lot of (what seems like) breakage in between my parts at the top of my hair and I don't want to cut it again. I have low porosity hair and want to focus on moisturizing my roots the way I should and growing out the short hairs. What's your regimen in between wash days for moisturizing? Do you oil your scalp? Or do you reapply the leave ins?
I use camille rose products. I have breakage in the crown area because of hbp meds and it really helps. I also use the cocoa nibs oil by camille rose and the algae renew deep conditioner every two week. I also mix acv in with the ginger rose to take care of my itchy scalp. I also drink lots of water.
In between wash days (with relaxed hair), my hair always liked the Nourishing Repair Oil Spray by Macadamia Professional. It was hydrating and didn't weigh the relaxed hair down. Here's a video on how I currently caring for my scalp ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rNQOOFqrqc8.html
Hej sweety can you please do a video of something like a demo of your weekly Hair Schedule updated, please?? I am watching this vid in 2022! just foud ya btw! Love!
How do you know if you're experiencing protein overload? Also thank you so much for this video. I just learned about porosity and I'm a true beginner so this was really helpful!
If your hair is brittle after you wash it, you may be protein sensitive. Stay away from products that contain protein if your low porosity. Do protein treatments once a month, and don’t leave protein Ingredients in your hair for longer than 30 mins… hope this helps ❤️
@@chakarox516 Also, I just learned that Hydrolyzed protein ingredients are ok even if you're protein sensitive because it's moisturizing. Do some research on that. Good luck.
I'm a guy, tryna grow it out. My hair is so weird man. I always assumed I had low porosity hair bc products sit on top of my hair but even if I moisturize my hair, the moisture would be gone in the morning. Any tips?
You can incorporate heat buy sitting your conditioner in a small container and sitting that in hot water to let it heat up. You can also use a steamer to steam your hair, but if you don’t have one, you can use conditioner on your hair then put a plastic shower cap or plastic bag on your hair and take a shower. The steam from the shower will help your product penetrate into the hair shaft 🤗 hope this helps!
Heat up your products on the stove, massage the products in your hair so it doesn’t just sit on top, or sit under a dryer after moisturizing or hold a blow dryer and move it around your head for a few minutes. Also use light, creamy, water based products so that it’ll penetrate your hair better.
I dont like the greasy-ness of Camille rose. Their products way too greasy for my hair even when I'm goin light handed. Upside is they smell like cake and icing. Luv that bout camille
Hi, I'm so confused. I'm just figuring out my hair that feels like straw. I did do the strand test and my hair sat on top of the water for hours. Anyway, does low porosity mean I'd need protein free shampoo and conditioners? Also am i to avoid silicone, sulfates and parabens? Just trying to understand my hair better.
txrn79 I don’t think that low porosity hair automatically means protein sensitive hair...and I think there are levels to how much protein your hair would handle and what kind of protein is good for your hair...there are some protein that your hair might like but then also, you might be so sensitive that you just gotta stay away from protein completely....unfortunately you won’t ever know until you go through that trial and error stage because your hair is unique only to yourself and it will tell you what’s not good for it and what it good for it. I’m still learning about my hair. I am not that protein sensitive but I just recently did a rice treatment now my hair is acting crazy from protein overload....that’s why I’m here trying to find them products to use now lol
I went through something similar about 18 months ago and discovered that I tend to be sensitive to a lot of protein. I’ve heard from many videos that low porosity hair may not be able to withstand a lot of protein. I’ve found that using protein shampoo and conditioners only around the time I do a touchup and after clarifying works much better for me. Also, avoiding shampoos with sulfates, silicones and parabens really help. If the product is free of these, it will usually say on the label. Also, be sure to check the ingredients thoroughly. You might want to try shampoos and conditioners (especially deep conditioners) that are moisturizing. Also, some leave in conditioners may contain protein. I tried an aloe treatment for hair growth once. and it made my hair feel like straw, so I definitely won’t be using the rice water treatments either. Both contain a lot of protein. I hope this helps. Best wishes.
@@-joanne564 For a long time I did not know that. I thought I was on top of my hair for years, but there were some things that I was doing wrong & my hair suffered from that. My 1st real hair journey began in May 2020. I am now on top of things & my hair is flourishing like never before. Your hair is beautiful! & your video about products for low porosity hair was very helpful. I now use TGIN products & I also use Cantu products.

People would prefer advice on wash and go's, hair routines & how to grow healthy, kinky/curly hair and relaxed hair isn't healthy hair that's another reason why she doesn't have that many subs.
Lemi J There are plenty of relaxed women but most of them don’t need tutorials. They go to the salon and it’s easy to style anyway. Maybe growing relaxed hair or preventing damage? That might draw in an audience
Relaxed hair is healthy hair if she takes good care of it. Do you see her hair thin in places and breaking off? No. So don't try to alienate our sisters just because they prefer having relaxed hair, judging by your profile pic you really need to take some of her information and apply it, sis. Maybe that's the reason you don't have any hair.
