For all those asking Aero wheel are not dot legal I believe it is to do whit having a thin lip at bead to avoid steering damage when rubbing on oval and road courses. They also MUST be used with special lug nut that are take a 1'' socket and have a different angle on them. They also use a bigger valve stem. But at the end of the day they are a good wheel if used proper. I have my drag radials mounted on a set of Aero 15x10 and drive on the street and drag strip all the time with them. Only down fall I could see them bending in deep pothole because of thin lip but center section and the rest of the wheel is very strong.

Avon makes the best tires. I run them on both my Harley's they handle the best, require little or no weight to balance, long lasting, and worth every penny. People look at my vintage tread patterns and ask how well they handle and honestly in my opinion better than the factory by far.

where do you get these state side? seem to be a popular tire in europe, but ive never seen them here in the USA

I have some 15 inch rallys but i got some bf goodrich tires brand new that are 235/70/15 u think they will fit right and look good? they are going in a 1980 malibu gbody

Are they better than BFG radials? BFG has the classic all season gator back tires. The best 15" tire that i have known for long lasting tread wear and decent handling and ok grip is also a size & type of tire not just a brand , and it is the P295/50R15 BFG radial GT on a 15X11 or 15x10" wheel combo. The next tire is the Pirelli P7 Pro Touring all weather any size. The tread on those Avon tires look like a hydroplaning nightmare. An all season dry/wet tire is the best to jet water and get through snow. and dirty sandy roads Ever hit a thin layer of sand at only 35 mph on a loop to merge the interstate in Nebraska? How many 360's would you like with your scare today? States with ice run out of salt and dump sand on the roads that lingers year round. Where can you drive? When? where? how? why? Seriously, are they the best?

Didn't get Avon get bought out? Worried that these won't be supported soon and not sure if anybody else has found a good alternative
