@@Chadnvaldrwhat is that? I haven’t read all the books yet but I’ve played through RC over 5 times and don’t exactly know why he does, aside from it’s such a Sev thing to do
In a assualt ship a the clone officer looks upon the battlefield. He then saw a massive fireball* Officer points at the explosion* Officer 1: 10 credits say that was Scorch. Officer 2: Cant be, no way he packed that much explosives. Officer 1: That's Scorch, you know the delta squad member who burned his own eyebrows off!? Officer 2: ...... hands him 10 credits* Got off the comm with their advisor. *Then a massive piece of metal is flung passes by the Comand tower* Officer 2: Curses in mandalorian* hands a jedi 10 credits* He made a bet if we saw a piece of debris fly by if that explosion was being enough.
Boss: "Deltas, get me an explosive solution" Scorch: "Got it, sir... is it red-red-green or red-green-red?" Sev: "And he's supposed to be our demolitions expert" Scorch: "Charge is set, and ready to detonate, sir. Whenever you're ready" Boss: "Fire in the hole!" Fixer: "38 is down!"
"Hey, Sev, how many kills you got today, psycho?" "More than you, wise guy." "Keep this comm clear you two." "Calm down Fixer, we're just having a little fun." Classic Commando banter.
**SPOILERS FOR REPUBLIC COMMANDO** Sev: “I LOST TRACK OF MY KILLS!!!” Me: Yo Sev you want a break? Seems like this War is getting to you man Me after the finale: ):
When Scorch checks a dead trando, one of the dialogues he sometimes says is "Look Sev, this one looks like your mom". When I heard that playing I literally fell off my chair 😂😂😂
best line: delta squad walks out of a bunker and into bad weather, schorch says "huh, i wonder what the weather is like on kamino right now..." hilarious!!!
My favorite and the strangest one: -Did i miss anything important? -No, did you get the data? -Yeah, yeah they searched me but i hide the data pretty well. -Where exactly? -uuuuhmm, you don't want to know... I just don't want to imagine where.
My favorite Sev-Scorch interactions were on Kashyyyk. There are a lot of lines Scorch has about things that give him the creeps, and unrelated to one of these Sev makes a delightfully psychotic line about how the danger of the forests _makes him feel alive._ followed by an immediate “Now Sev’s giving me the creeps!”
Sev: Setting charge... Scorch: Uhh, Boss? You sure you want "Mr. Death-Wish" handling the explosives? gotta love 'em. Such a shame there won't be a Republic Commando 2. THANKS ALOT DISNEY!!!!!
Also, Delta Squad are still canon in the new universe. They appeared in one of the TV shows, meaning the events of Republic Commando are most likely canon too.
@@rominkivela9351 so don't blame Disney for LucasArts' problems. The Clone Wars (prior to Disney) was also a big F U to the expanded universe in lots of ways.
62: Hey, Sev, how many kills you got today, psycho? 07: More than you, wise guy 40: Keep this comm clear you two 62: Calm down Fixer, we're just having a little fun 38: *laughing on the inside*
one of my favorites is on Kashyyyk, near the end. Advisor: "Get a move on, Deltas." Scorch:"Um..why aren't we moving?" Boss:"Uh, Sev. The button?" :) gotta love Sev.
Scorch: Do you have to make such a mess? Sev: Rule 17: Always make sure they're dead. Scorch: Well, looks dead to me. Sev: It is now. I love this game.
I still the Clone Wars would sounds much more manly if Temuera voiced them. I mean CMON!!!! The one scene Delta Squad showed up and they too got the normal Clone Voices. Such a missed opportunity.
@@oliverpierce5118 season 3, episode 14 if I remember correctly. The whole squad showed up at the beginning of the episode, except Fixer who stood in the ship
They all have their brother-in-arms relationship. But I love the bromance between Sev and Scorch. Few examples: Scorch: "Debris blocking our path here Boss. We'll need to detonate the rocks to get through; and I'm NOT just saying that because I love to blow stuff up." Sev: "Yes you are." Scorch: "This place gives me the creeps." Sev: "Heh, everything gives you the creeps." Sev: "Setting charge" Scorch: "Err, 38, you sure you want Mr. Death-wish setting explosives?" Scorch: "Sev...did that corpse give you a nasty look?" Scorch: "Was it red-red-green, or red-green-red?" Sev: "And he's supposed to be the demolition expert?" Scorch: "Sev, how many kills you got today, psycho?" Sev: "More than you, wise-guy." Scorch: "This place gives me the creeps." Sev: "Ah Scorch. Nothing like walking through the jungle, waiting to put some plasma bolts through an enemy's cranium. Heh, makes me feel alive!" Scorch: "Okay...now 0-7 is giving me the creeps!" Scorch: "Do you have to make such a mess?" Sev: "Rule 17 - always make sure they're dead." Scorch: "Well, looks pretty dead to me." Sev: "It is now."
I just started to play again and it's just still so funny. I think in the Republic Commando books they came off as a bit colder but that's probably because they just feel more comfortable around their own Squad. If they make a new game I hope they make it exactly like this but better. I also love the "forming up, Boss" from scorch it just sounds so cute Too bad Fixer is so silent but that's just how he is.
40: there’s the core ship, sir! 38: are you sure, forty? There could be another one right around the corner! Ladies and gentlemen, my sense of sarcasm in a nutshell.
@mastergmoore And CT-01/425: "Someone important noted your excellence on Geonosis." Scorch: "You hear that, Sev? Someone thinks I'm excellent." Sev: "Well, at least that makes two of you."
If they ever make a sequel, I want them to continue the banter but only between Boss, Fixer and Scorch. And any attempt by Sev's replacement to join in would just be met with silence.
"THIS deluxe model is what stands between you and a bloody death, so you best show some respect, Trooper" Imagine Commando 38 encountering Commander Fox with this tone.
