It was such an epic power move for Daisy to go with Kelsey. Production knows who he chooses and who has to go first, so by both going together, they'd have to tell them who he picks because they have to send someone first, so in doing this power move, Daisy ensured she already knew she wasn't picked before dumping him with no risk of being wrong. Otherwise, she would have arrived not knowing if Kelsey had already been there and rejected and could have blown her epic proposal moment before it happened. Truly, it was a genius, epic power move on her part to ensure she could dump him first if he was planning to dump her. She did it with such class too. Go Daisy!
Charity had the best bachelorette season and now Joey has the best bachelor season. Love that for us 😂 Both seasons also made history so I’m excited for Jenn 🥳
I’m so happy for Jenn, my friend and I (being Asian ourselves) literally 2 months ago were talking about how we never see any asian representation on the show and if there are asians they go home fast. And so the announcement was a shocker ! Yes I did want Maria and after watching daisy in this episode I was leaning towards her as well but I am beyond stocked for Jenn as the first Asian lead !!!! Let’s gooooooooo💕🎉🙌🏻🔥
Yeah!! Especially when they were making that wish at the fire on their last date. He was even prepping Daisy to get dumped and then kissed her! Yuk. I guess he has no choice either! He can’t make it that obvious because he is still in a tv show that has to go until the very end
What an underwhelming ending to a great season. Joey was a good bachelor, and Daisy and Kelsey were all class, but not having Daisy or Maria as the next Bachelorette is a huge disappointment.
If it wasn’t gonna be Maria, I always wanted it to be Jenn. Daisy is sweet but it’s very predictably cookie-cutter to have had her as lead. Jenn always had a fun flirtatious amusing personality with her own family mystery to match which would make for great tv whereas I feel Daisy would’ve put me to sleep. It was an underwhelming ending tho in the sense that nothing crazy happened.
Whit, after seeing Daisy and Kelsey in the car… “are they in a relationship now?” OMG that was the line of the season. Bravo Whit and Ry you delivered a brilliant series of recaps. Honourable mention to momma Shay. Until the next time, I’ll miss you 💕
Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how passionate and genuine Kelsey was throughout the season? I mean Joey had no choice but to choose her.....he was bewitched
You both looked as shocked as the rest of us. I think both women were wonderful and very mature at the end. So nice to see them befriend each other instead of being jealous.
I like Jenn, but "Shot o'clock" makes me wonder if this is going to be more of a party season than a forever love/he's my person season. Is that really what she wants her season to be known for?
i was waiting to hear ya'lls gasps and reactions at the 2 big surprises (kelsey/daisy in the car together, and jenn announced as the bachelorette), and you did not disappoint! also, i think joey did an excellent job on his final dates with daisy. usually the lead offers the runner-up misleading validation that leaves them more blindsided and hurt in the end (e.g., charity saying "i love you" to joey, and then not choosing him), which i think would also cause some trust issues with the final couple themselves. thank you for another absolutely hilarious recap, and for the whole season of them! :)
I think Jenn is a lovely person but she doesn’t strike me as ready for marriage. I think either Lexi or Rachael would have been better options (after Daisy and Maria). Jenn gives me party girl vibes. Maybe BIP?
Thank you ladies for the much needed laughs on my lunch break at the hospital ❤❤❤ I can’t bring myself to spend 2-3 hours on the actual episodes so thank you . I like your recaps better 😂
I have no clue why YT made you remove this but I’m glad it’s back. I watched it the first time but came back just to show you support after the controversy ❤
I just seen this on chicks in the office with Joey and Kelsey . they asked them if there was something that was special between them that wasn't shown. okay remember when Daisy walks in the Kelsey's room and Kelsey moves a paper with writing on it ? Well Joey had written down his thoughts about Kelseys and how he was feeling at the moment about her .. this was early on that was before the one-on-one even but he gave that to her at the last chance date and added how he can see her as his wife to reassure her that she was the one. crazy how we all questioned that piece of paper and hear that was from Joey to Kelsey all while Daisy was sitting there
I just love your recaps❣️ Your faces during Daisy & Joey’s cleansing ritual, when he was letting her down easy, was priceless! Yes, I got the double conversation the same time you ladies did.
Daisy was stunning and I loved her response about not being the bachelorette even though I had really hoped it would be her. It’s no doubt she has grown the faster on IG. I had the same reaction that Ry had when they announced Jen 😂😂
Thanks for a wonderful recap season yall! Loved watching and laughing w you! 💛 I do think that it was diabolical production rather than Daisy who suggested they ride together for the drama factor since nothing crazy was happening by the end of the season, so they had to create a “never before seen” moment. I thought it was actually kinda lame and torturous to have them ride together like they both already know anyway, have them ride separately. I think Daisy visiting Kelsey was more about her seeking closure and validation for her suspicions than insecurity since she felt she couldn’t ask Joey I guess. 11:08 I would’ve wanted to walk out then and there. “Thank you” lol nahhhh. No emotion from him, a continuance of the fire scene they had and how ominous he was in “thanking her for being there” like it was so formal 🥴 I was ugh-ing too, Whit! Joey’s reaction here, the “smile and nod,” was so telling. He gave her nothing lol I mean respect to her for putting herself out there until the end even though she felt it wasn’t her but I was hoping for her to be more honest in terms of what she was feeling FROM HIM at that point to see how he would’ve reacted w his back up against the wall a bit. Like would he have been honest abt where was leaning if she had told him she was feeling uncertainty from him? I think so. And so I would’ve appreciated her taking initiative during the night portion to confront the unsaid and to have ultimately seen her walk out before the rose ceremony. I feel like that’s what I would’ve wanted to do bc getting ready for the ceremony knowing it wasn’t me would seem so fruitless and anxiety inducing, just too much. I would’ve wanted to hear it from him rather than Kelsey. I do love that Daisy walked out on her own in the end though. Like, it ain’t your game anymore Joey lol this is MY final moment. Head held high! Hell yea! I would so look forward to Kelsey’s father leading a golden bachelor season so that we could watch all the women completely go to bats for him 💀 I was pretty disappointed that Maria wasn’t bachelorette but it’s a smart move on her part to leave on a high since she likely knows how bachelor nation can turn on a lead the moment they say or do something they don’t like and Maria’s personality is so straight forward and real, some of the viewers would continue to take issue with it since they’re used to more docile women 🙄 But my 2nd choice was Jenn and I am so glad they went with her! From her and Joey’s first one on one, it was clear to me that she had personality and a sense of humor, much more than Daisy in my opinion, which can make for a really great season. She also doesn’t have the perfect family which I find relatable, and she’s the first woman of color within her particular culture to lead a season to boot which is the icing on the cake! She’s going to help shift perception in how Asian women like her and younger girls see themselves in being able to lead their own love stories and b sought after in a media and franchise historically overly-saturated with white women filling those roles. Representation matters and it’s only right that we get an accurate portrayal of what the women in this country look like so I love it for that reason too! Daisy is sweet but too cookie-cutter predictable to me which would’ve led to me being bored I think. I also got the impression during Daisy’s hometown that she wanted to play the field anyway - especially w Joey being her first boyfriend after her sickness - after being reminded by Joey of how desirable she still is and of how much he / the experience opened her up to the possibility of love. So her being cast would’ve made not much sense to me when she strikes me as the type that really needs more time. Good luck Jenn!
I always love watching you two!!! Thanks so much for pointing out the woman/women thing… oh my gosh it had bugged me all season! Also thanks for all the hard work that goes into making these videos 🥰🫶🏼
Thanks ladies! That was even more painful than the first time when I watched it with my friend. I think our reactions were they exact same as yours. Except for the triple.
K&J was on a podcast and it was so cute I guess Kelsey when they were on the plane going somewhere they are only allowed to listen to what was on the airplane .. Taylor Swift's song "Dress" Came on and Kelsey said that song reminded her of Joey so she listened to it over and over.. Talking about in a crowded room it's just me and you something that affect she told that to Joey and I guess he kept that small little thing so anytime he would start missing her he would have producers play that song.. I was like how sweet.
Thanks gals for the fun recap this season. Always look forward to the notification of Whit and Ry! I’ll be watching for the recap in a couple of weeks. Until then…👏👏👏
I loved Joey & Kelsey as a couple and am rooting for them! Hope we see Daisy and Maria again, maybe Paradise? And Jenn is fun. I think the next season will be good.
It’s always so fun to watch you two! Watching your review brightens my day. I love the dynamic you both have. It’s funny and entertaining. I’ll miss whatching your videos. Please do reviews for golden bachelorette!
Thanks again for your fun recaps! Also, I think Joey's Mom may have a slight speech impediment, maybe even had a mild stroke at one time. Just a guessing observation, not facts. ❤😂🥒Also, I bet Maria will be in Paradise, she's too much fun not to be. I think she would have been an entertaining bachelorette! & 🤞🤞 for Mark for the next golden bachelor! Mama Shay would be ecstatic!
Probably. Or they'll put him on Golden Bachelorette, and make sure that he doesn't get chosen, and then pick him for Golden Bachelor. Either way, they'll be dropping the age of the women by a lot, no doubt. As he's only 56! But I'm going to drop my hat in the ring, regardless!
When it became clear the family was more into Daisy, then I knew it was Kelsey he was going to choose. Whoever the family seems most confident in often is not the one chosen
I have waited to leave you a comment to let you know how much I love you guys. I cried when Daisy told Kelsey her mom would be watching. I love Daisy so much and was disappointed she chose not to be the next batchelorette. Have a great summer, and it will be a while before we see you again since there will not be a Bachelor in Paradise.
As an English teacher, I am appalled at the woman/women confusion! 🤣We teach this concept in 2nd grade. I am so glad someone else noticed it too. Apparently, the producers didn't catch it either. Before long, they may change "The Women Tell All" to "The Woman Tell All"🤣🤣🤣Also, I am glad that I am not the only one who has no idea who Rhonda is!
Great season and loved your reviews most of all. I totally thought it was Daisy until the wish he made at the cleansing and after...he didn't look and smile into her eyes, he didn't fondle her like before. And I wonder if he did get reassurance from Kelsy off camera that she would say yes. Otherwise it was a risky move and almost self fulfilling
Why do they talk like that? They’ve been driving me nuts all season. Joey looked a little sick when he looked at Daisy. It wasn’t good. I love Daisy. She’s so smart to realize she wasn’t the one and acknowledge it to him. Kelsey looked like she was walking down the aisle. I love Kelsey, too. Okay, I love Joey, too. He’s a different type of bachelor. He seemed to handle so many things sensitively. And he’s such a cutie. Don’t jump to conclusions about things here…they love to trick us! Next bachelorette…NO…sorry. Honestly, I fast forwarded thru a lot of the three hours. Love y’all! ❤
Those of us who read spoilers, RS had said all season it was Daisy! It wasn’t until a few weeks ago that it came out it was Kelsey. Crazy ride for spoiler readers 😂
