Spot on with the Zeiss. Prior to that I always bought Leupold. I now 14 Zeiss scopes and I am slowly replacing all the scopes on my rifles with Zeiss. In addition, they are tough!

Tough waterproof and you can see through them. I always reckoned there only 3 makes of sights worth buying: Zeiss, Swarovski and Schmidt & Bender. Binos, Zeiss, Swarovski and my favourites - Leica. The difference is visible.

Great reviews Mr. Joe !!!! You answer so many questions on low to mid grade optics. Nobody really had anywhere to go to get a honest review until now with your expertise on a ton of great options. You have been solid on helping the working class to save their hard earned cash and purchase a scope that they ( We ) will be happy with. I usually don't purchase anything without doing some research first. I ended up buying an Osprey scope at a gun show last year. I have yet to put it on a rifle, but based on the comments I have seen once I did finally do my research after I got home, I'm not getting my hopes up. At least I didn't buy it for anything special. I was just going to put it on a .22.

Yeah man they have an AWFUL reputation. I saw a dealer at a local gun show a few mo this back . His $500 scope I wouldn't have paid $150 for . It was just Chinese low end stuff

Wow! What a great video. I am now at that time of life that my eyes have given all they could and it's time they get some needed help. All of my rifles are on the table for optics. Red dots are totally useless with the astigmatism so what I can afford is the best midrange priced scope every few months or so. W/O going through countless reviews you gave me a huge step forward in making those decisions. Thank you for your time and really great videography.

Vudu 1-10 is such a great all around optic. Great for tactical, home defense, hunting. Great weight, nice eye box. I put it against anything. Also Razor LHT. The 3-15 is great for hunting. Light weight, reasonably priced, crisp glass with great reticle options. I wish the 3-15 was FFP like the 4.5-22, but I’ve got it on my AR10 and I’m not shooting beyond 500yds.

Hey Joe, it'd be great if you could put a video together of your recommended scopes NOT made in China. Brands and specific models from manufacturers. Given what's going on I plan to never buy Chinese again if I can at all avoid it. I know some Chinese products can be very good, but in memory of those who have passed due to the Chinese Virus and for all those suffering hardship, I say fuck 'em. A great big middle finger message needs to be sent. Just my thoughts. :)

As this is written, SWFA scopes are unfindable. Forget trying to buy one. However, I did find half a dozen USED SWFA scopes listed on EBay last week. Listed BY SWFA! I bought two 10 x 42 mil dot reticle/MOA adjustment scopes for $205 each. They have slight exterior blemishes due to scope rings. SWFA guaranteed them for complete mechanical and optical integrity. I may have scored the best buy EVER on EBay! Can't wait until they get here!

I can't say that I tested them on the field or anything like that, but I've looked through many scopes including Swarovski, Eotech, Burris, Vortex and many more but as far as glass clarity nothing compares to leupold. I own three of them and even their vx freedom rimfire, $200 scope that I own has amazing glass clarity and light gathering. They're also the lightest out there. I don't own an lrp, but i can't tell you that when I looked through one of them, I knew that that image was second to none.

Im a lever gun nut. Got a Burris tac 30 on a 357. Its ok but not crazy about the illuminaton adjust. The rt6 (without fastfire) on a 44 mag and another on long ranger in 223/5.56 is perfect setup for those guns. Vortex crossfire II with ilumination on rimfire guns also a winner. Great video. Will be helpful if i go any other route than the rt6 on my 45-70. Thanks dude.

That thing with the nosler varmigetten 55 grain loads is a tack driver and very fur friendly . Thanks for the usefull advice!

Love you scope reviews ,the best out there. Im sure any review you do of any piece of gear would be excellent but if there was one item I would want a review I could trust and depend on it would be my optics. That said I took your review and went with a Burris 1-6 x24 RT-6 and I couldn't be happier. Now I'm saving up for a scope for my Marlin 336 in 35 Remington. Got a suggestion?

Man I have been using a lil Sig Sauer Whiskey 3 3-9 ...Cost like $150 and it kicks ass

@@CyclopsJoeVideos might try that on my 30.06 mauser...which right now has an old Redfield 3-9 on it but not happy with that.
