@@willbadz1982 Look at the date, maybe they meet up.. Them driving down, him driving up.. Maybe meeting at Kulas Place in CDO or Finns Place in Cebu.. Who knows?
"When you travel with people who hold the same values and have the same lust for discovery as you do, you will never feel alone". Brilliant message to end the video!
Thanks Erwan for featuring the beauty of Mindanao and honoring its people by actually getting to know the place, respecting the culture and even learning basic phrases! I've always had a love-hate relationship with non-Mindanaoans who come here to visit and be amazed at its beauty (thinking all of it is war-torn), tells a lot about how they perceive Mindanao. I just have a chip on my shoulder because I always get asked ridiculous questions when traveling up North. There are no foreign lands, it is the traveler only who is foreign. Next time you go on a trip to an "undiscovered" place, do your research, dip into the local culture, respect its people. Thanks again so much Erwan for doing all this!
PinayGandaWorld Filipinos are already fluent in English, what are you talking about? I was stating the point that Erwan should speak more of our native tongue as he is also Filipino. He is fluent in English and French, and probably some other languages, but not Filipino. Hearing him speak those words makes me proud that he is already trying.
I feel likd im watching a modern Nat Geo 😁 So cool, the content, the editing skills, cinematography, background music and everything!! I stan for this!! Keep up the great work Mr. Erwan! 🤞🏻
My Czech husband and I used to lived and traveled as well there in Davao Oriental. Totally no tourist. At all. So rare to see some foreigners and even local tourists. Everything is so cheap and all. So sad that we weren't able to meet you so we can joined and showed you where we used to go. Some people are so scared to go and wander in Mindanao area because of the fake news about this island but the truth is there's only few places that you mustn't go. There's a lot of beautiful places, falls, beaches, spring and all there. And to meet the native people are so wonderful. So happy that you gave it a shot @erwan heussaff Your editing skills are so lit! You deserve more than a million subs. God bless!
Very compelling storytelling. I was hooked to watch every second of this video. I also love how Erwan chose not to reveal the specific locations of their trip sparking the curiosity of the audience, and encouraging them to connect with the locals themselves. I also love how the simple local businesses were featured and named. They seem to serve as clues to the locations of the trip, even daring the audience to start packing and head off to an adventure.
What I admire in Erwan is He does things responsibly! He cooks, wash dishes, go to the market... helps change his car's tires... and even is aware and that responsibility of bringing your plastics and wastes w you and dspose them later to any garbage dsposal or something..that's what a real man and pipol should be...regardless wheather rich or not!
I’m Fil-Am & my family’s from Mindanao. I love how you got a chance to eat pako (seaweed salad) it’s one of my favorite things to eat plus barillis grilled (tuna) on the beach is something my family loves to do. Thank you for portraying it in such an honest and real light. With love from Ventura, CA!
Hi new sub here. I've watched kumar in kulas' (becoming filipino) trips. I admire how humble you are. You drive & you cook (i know you're a chef though) & you treat your companions well. Galing!
New subscriber here from California. Your vlogs are exceptionally made. Very detailed and informative. It's like watching a VICE documentary, maybe even better. I hope I get to go back to my country in the future and experience all the stuff you did .... the way you did them. Keep up the great job.
Thanks for visiting, vlogging the Beauty Of Mindanao Erwan. Hope you visit also the enchanted river, tinuy an falls, bugac cold spring, lanuza surf, laswitan, cagwait white beach.
can't believe i haven't subscribed yet.. Watching this makes me want to leave my work and distress for a week! It also makes me more appreciative that I live in Mindanao...
Great job editing. Kumar and Louie are lucky they don't have to do the cooking 😂 hayahay brod! Nice you hangout with the fighter boys and you stuck with the off beaten path surf culture. I'm truly inspired till I will have my own surf trip near future. You deserved the waves in east coast. More power and there's more to explore in east coast. 👏 🇵🇭
So far this is the best video that I watched. The places, the people, the beauty of Mindanao especially the beaches and the CONTENT . And best roadtrip, spontaneous !!!
Living abroad, I realized why there’s lots of fruits and coconuts in the Philippines especially Mindanao, the climate is perfect for the fruit bearing trees to thrive. The northern part of the Philippines like Batanes is beautiful and cool, but the cool weather is not suitable for fruit bearing trees and coconuts. Truly different regions has it’s own beauty and blessings from heaven above.
I’m actually feeling really jealous right now. I love adventures and unplanned roadtrips. This video is amazing! makes me want to go on a trip :’) Edit: oh and Erwan, I’m so happy you’re not afraid or maarte to do trips like this very humble and genuine. God bless. Respect
This is legit...after watching your zamboanga city, tawitawi vlog and now Davao Oriental roadtrip. Oh men, i directly subscribe rang the bell....im a happy subscriber here...thanks for featuring our island great story.
That intro gives me goosebumps. I do really appreciate how much you love our country and how you show that we have many beautiful and inspiring places, faces and cultures to offer in the world.
Just watched this vid and im so amazed of how “cowboy” you are, erwan. I mean...you can stay anywhere, eat anything, and can get along with people you just met without so much arte. You’re so cool! 👌🏻😎😍 And oh! This vid is lit. 🔥 Watching this feels like im in the exact place as you were too. And of course....im drooling with all the food you’ve shown here!
Davao is huge! There's Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Davao Oriental. You won't run out of things to do from being a beach bum, to trekking mountains, to waterfalls, springs, caves, etc!
nice editing and story telling every vlog is epic... now Kumar is the official Mindanao tourist vlogger guide hahaha, good Kulas let you borrow Kumar. keep safe. godless
You always create a multi-purpose (e.g. food, travel/tourism, business development, environmental care, camaraderie, etc) content, Erwan! Keep rocking! 😊👌
I don't know why, but watching your vlog makes me feel warm inside. The feeling of being proud and nostalgic. Makes me more excited about tomorrow and to travel. Godbless you Sir!
What stands out for me is that footage where a local fisherman was mending his net for a living, while the same sea offers a recreational activity to others. Both are paths of economic activities, and contribute in different ways!
😭 you're so good Erwan, thank you for show casing the beauty of mindanao. The way you narrates, the cinematography it was so lit, really WOW! Godbless you a lot! ❤
Your parents teach you well Erwan! I wish I'd done the same w my son. Teach him talk Tagalog or bisaya..and how to cook! That's the BIGDIFFERENCE of you from the others! Stay safe, kind and humble! Hope Ann realized she's lucky to have you!
SIkat ka na talaga Kumar Jack, from kulas to Erwan and who is next to take you with them/him. Love that Bagangga Blvd where the dead trees along the shore is an epic view and the perfect shot of Aliwagwag Falls, been there two years ago.
I love how authentic the vid is. It would really make you want to drive , go to the beach, just spend hours swimming, drinking, and eating with friends. Plus the subtle marketing of the car rental service, very good! Also, the reminders about proper waste management and car emergency readiness 👍🏻 Perfect summertime travel vid!
Amazing video content and narrative! Post more videos.❤ The best trip is the road trip💕 thanks for sharing this man it brings me back to good memories of where I grow up! Also, I appreciate your awareness of not throwing plastic bags anywhere but dispose them of properly and recycle them 😍
why would sugar dady be jealous...erwan was with kumar and Co for only a very short time...but kulas was willing to live with them in the same compound forever
kulas' only fault is, he doesnt know how to cook or to fix a flat tire...erwan has just this focused misson vlog sponsored by heartz...but kulas has so much other borader things in his head...and shoulders
THIS IS VID IS SO AWESOME! YOUR FACTS, YOUR SOUNDTRACKS, YOUR STORIES, THE WAY YOU NARRATE IT TAKES US WITH YOU EVERYWHERE YOU ARE. AND THE FOOD! OMG! 😎😎😎 I live in Davao, but I've only gone to Mati. I would want to go to these places! Thank you so much!
