These are great chicken ideas. I especially liked the five spice slashed chicken and dipping sauce. And this show has my favorite presenters - Erika and Lynn.
Someone forgot to mention... Most always in Asian countries, marinated chicken pieces are slit cut through the skin and into the meat in 2 or 3 places to allow marinade to enter the meat better. 2-3 slit areas an inch deep.
Why would you encourage people to pour a sauce over skin that you spent all that time getting crispy?!? There’s nothing wrong with putting the sauce on the bottom where there is no skin. That way people could enjoy the crispness of the skin rather than eating soggy skin.
Interesting that you are duplicating Cook Illustrated's recipe Roast Chicken with Warm Bread Salad. They published and televised this recipe first. Is Milk Street planning to copy Christopher Kimball's old company's recipes from now on?
Don't you guys have any flavorings besides peppers??? I'm allergic to nightshades and I have a hard time finding alternatives to potatoes, tomatos, and peppers. All I hear from every cooking show is nightshades. I'm starting to listen to Europeans and their cooking shows! They have more variety of ingredients than we do!💩💩💩
He is not, it's how your taking it. This season is being shot differently. The videos are then attached to recipes. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
How can you say he's annoying based off a 2 minute segment? He is one reason I watch the show. Bridget Lancaster and Julia Collins were a huge hit with this Man. All 3 were the greatest assets in the show. If you were to watch older episodes years back you'd have a change of heart. This man is really a sweetheart with a funny sense of humor and will definitely grow on you.😊
