Word of warning, the AHEAD ammo on the KF41 (and PUMA) is still broken. Gaijin implemented it so you have to manually set the fuse distance before it explodes like a 1940s Flak gun, rather than the vehicle's fire control system automatically setting distance *which is how it works IRL*. As if these tanks weren't bad enough.
But they are implemented exactly how they work in real life - you measure the distance and system automatically sets the fuse. Just no one actually bothers to measure the distance to a plane/helicopter. There is nothing “manual” there.
@@alexey_chekhovich The Fire Control System automatically measures the distance to the target and then sets a fuze based on it. You don't do shit IRL for it to work besides giving the fire command.
@@alexey_chekhovich How it works IRL: You spot a target, like a helicopter, low flying aircraft, etc, you track the target and the rest is done by the FCS; FCS measures distance, target's speed, target's direction of travel, own vehicle's speed, own vehicle's direction of travel and programs the fuze to explode after x.x amount of time to hit the target perfectly. How it works in game: You spot a target, you track the target, you press rangefind and by the time the rangefinder is done measuring the distance, it's already inaccurate if the target is moving, which makes the rounds utterly useless. In the case the target is stationary, like a hovering helicopter, you can use APFSDS just the same so why even bother bringing AHEAD rounds. The 2S38 has a very similar system to how the PUMA and the Lynx program their rounds, which is done at the end of the barrel, yet Gaijin gave it HE-VT. 3UO8 is not HE-VT in real life, but they made it so in game just because they were too lazy to model the FCS correctly. The PUMA/Lynx get HE-TF, the 2S38 gets HE-VT. All 3 vehicles should either get HE-VT for simplification or until their respective FCS are modeled in the game.
it also doesnt help that the KF41’s barrel is off centered to the left from the gunner sight like in sim battles, which is surely another bug. you can see Phly run into this at 12:58

In Hungarian "Best salad!" is translated to = "Beszállás!" which means "Get in!" / "Getting in!" It is kind of hilarious at 11:13 when he says and the way he says : "A futómű nem működik!" = "the vehicle transmission system is not working!" while everyone in the vehicle is dead and nobody cares anymore. Basically a German vehicle that is not working so lets give it to other nations. (in Gaijin world)

This thing is at 10.7, the puma is at 10.0 with no spikes and yet the CV90/40 BILL has a better gun and 8 overhead detonation ATGM’s at 10.0.. Not to mention you can just buy the 2S38 and clap everything you see at the same BR anyway.

As a Hungarian I must say Gaijin did 10/10 here. This vehicle is the perfect representation of modern day Hungary. Everything is broken. Nothing works. If it somehow still works (accidentally) it's just plain bad.
German mains complained about not getting an absolutely broken vehicle that is worthless meanwhile getting the PSO. The irony of the big three nations has no bounds.
now I like this version of Phly the not so puppet one feels authentic like what he used to be 1~2 years ago before gaijin's heavy advertisement for russian vehicles, as if they already weren't doing that before lmao watched to the end I hope you can either find a really good financial support in a job that you have the choice to quit this stuff, or find joy and views in another game that's not war thunder

You know, you’re the only reason I log on occasionally and still play some tier 2-3 American tanks. Because unlike a lot of videos on here. You just seem like you have fun. Or die trying
It's 30X173. What do you expect? On the A-10, the same round has...60-100mm, depending on where you hit. It also fires 35-50 per second. Pretending that you're going to frontal arc or flank pen any modern MBT with heavy sideskirts (T-90M, T-80BVM, CR2 with TES, M1A2 TUSK) with that kind of API round is...silly. A Gepard with old the 35X228 Oerlikon has better APDS pen. Yet you wouldn't take it up against any modern MBT. The CV-9040C with the 40X365 Bofors has _vastly_ better pen and equal armor, but you wouldn't take it up against any modern MBT. It's called an INFANTRY FIGHTING VEHICLE for a reason. Yet, in a game where there are no infantry or even infantry targets (buildings, bushes, trenchlines) firing stuff at you, it's not got a valid mission target set in supporting its own, non-existent, infantry section. Go have a burger, you're all soyed out on salad. When you come back Gaijin will have figured out how to mount a 50X228 M913 on something and you'll be back to spastic happy Phly again.
Gaijin is often accused of bias on all sides, but the visceral hatred they got for the PUMA and its variants is quite something. The list of problems exist since the PUMA entered the game, and nothing was done since. Making a auto canon that was build WITH THE PRIMARY AIM TO BE ACCURATE and give it worse stats than some BMPs, about the worst ERA in the game and a non-360° 360°-APS... and that is not the end of it.
This game is so broken so far this patch. Sounds all wonky (again), weapon systems not doing weapon-y things, drove right up to a Marder with an AML-90 and shot the flat side with HEAT-FS...."hit"....that's it, not a scratch on her. About 0.00001 second later I was shredded by cannon. Gaijin's outdone themselves.

Piece of crap tank as expected. Every IFV is the same beyond 9.0 range, once you lose the mobility advantage over MBT - there is nothing left to counter a proper gun and armor.
If you know that your vehicle has no armor, and weak gun, why would you play in such forward position against MBTs? It's like running into traffic and complaining that you got hurt. Wtf is this nonsense.

Missiles in general have been really bad lately, unless it has the Russian bias going for it. Hellfires and other AGMs have been a total joke. As far as I'm concerned they should basically be a one shot kill
you play very wrong with a light tank, you should play like a light tank, not like an Abrams going like crazy into the middle of the battle, that way it will never work anyway rsrs...
