I like them better only for funny or epic moments. The only benefit is if I want to watch part of the video by hovering over the thumbnail, but I rarely do that with this channel.

Hey Phly - I just want to say thanks for coming back. You've really uplifted me during some hard moments of my life - you and Odd - like all during COVID your videos were the only thing I actually looked forward to. Even just YESTERDAY I was having such a shit day, my c:\ drive failed, got huge expenses popped up I earnestly don't have the money for, relationship with GF on the rocks and very uncertain, work is going terrible for me. I was just so deeply depressed yesterday - no joke the only thing that made me smile was seeing your video, and I completely empathize with where you're coming from with bad habits. I hope and your family are well. I don't know you all that well, but I suspect you're a good guy. I've also tried being a good guy all around, and sometimes during hard times just having a good laugh at a Warthunder video helps us carry on with doing good in the world. Cheers man

I remember watching my first phly video at the beginning of high school, then I graduated high school, then I went to college, graduated college, left home, started my career, got married almost 4 years ago, and here I am in 2024 watching phly again. Incredible dedication!

The destroyer 45 is surprisingly amazing against vehicles it’s teir, though anything medium will definitely need to be side shot, and pretty sure most heavies can barely be damaged even in the back unless you get some bounce shots into the hull.
Interesting part about the many canals in the Netherlands, we used to use horse-drawn boats a lot. That's why we built canals everywhere. They also served as the sewer system
This game has been considered a ground combat game for a while but imo, the 2.0-6.0 plane combat is still the most fun. I just love being able to use superior dogfighting maneuvers (or whatever strengths your plane has like boom and zoom) to take people down. In the tanks it's like point-click-dead and there's not a lot of skill involved most of the time.
An ö sounds like the u in words like luck or duck or the i in girl. You'll find them in German and also in Swedish. Also if you ever see an ø it's a Norwegian ö and it sounds the same. Zerstörer means destroyer. At 16:38 you can hear the crew say "zerstöret" which means destroyed.

I started drinking when I was 14 and didn't stop the "start mixed drinks and shots at 4pm until I wake up at 3-4am drooling on myself in my chair with a controller in my hand" until about a year and a half ago. About to turn 59 in July. I have 'other vices' that have come and gone quickly and ones that hang on to this day. It's all in how you want to live with them in the end. Do you want to live like a bum? Drooling on yourself, living in a bottle every night? Or do you wanna live? GET TO DA CHOPPA!!!

You know phly… I’ve enlisted. The whole thing came up when I got fixed to the thought of „what if“. So i got to my local Military center and got to it. Helped me to start work out now
That music at the beginning healed my soul! I'd like to see the M18 Hellcat paired up with the AM-1 Mauler. A quick tank destroyer with a scouting ability paired up with a plane that can carry a massive arsenal of bombs. I don't think you've ever used the Mauler. So glad you're back!
About 20 yrs ago I got to see a ME 190 up close at an airshow at Forbes in Topeka Kansas . I was very surprised to see how small that plane really is , tiny . The plane couldn't fly and the windshield glass was clouded . Really messed up my expectations , I'm thinking Mustang and it was more like My Little Pony .
