The RCNetwork I had no idea they offered different options, I use the “Bedliner” type ones, the coating just feels so durable. For anyone wondering it’s just a fine sandy textured coating, very nice rough finish but not too rough.
The RCNetwork I just started Brazing up a cage for a tundra, I’ve got a BJ75 body on the way and a Mojave that I’m going to do next. It’s way easier than it seems.
@@TheRCNetwork I live in the Mojave Desert, and ADV is short for Adventure. I was doing some motorcycle adventure riding stuff, off-road and rally racing. Got into the RC stuff will recovering from a moto crash.
I don't have the trx 4 but one thing that always got me was also the stock bumpers, I have to admit it looks amazing and really dressed up that body, I am very impressed, as always I love RCNetwork and look forward to the video's, I am a little late to this one because I don't remember getting the notification,ty
And there you have it another great video well done I really enjoy the scalerfab products I have quite a few of their bumpers and skid plates on a bunch of my custom crawlers. Love your reviews
You mentioned putting up a link to where someone could you and purchase these items, did not see one anywhere. I've got there 79 bronco trx4 and looking for a different bumper.
Can you please tell us what the internal width/measurement is (in millimeters) for the rail mount bars/slots on the bumpers? I have a different crawler and wanted to know if this bumper kit would fit it's chassis rails. Also, if you pull the front bumper all the way forward, is there enough room to fit a winch between the body and lower/front bumper plate? Thanks.
Hi, amazing video once again, I’ve just ordered some. Your black arches did you paint them from the inside or the outside? Also is it just a Matt Black?
Ian Moughton yeah, funny story. I painted the entire body that blue....forgot to make the flares black. Ended up re-taping the outside of the body and sprayed black and then some testors Dullcote (flat clear)
@@javyjav1977 genius, I was there…..these bumpers were stock on the TRX4chassis kit I built. I put the camper body on, which needed different sized bumpers. Go take a look since you’re the expert here: traxxas.com/products/models/electric/trx-4-kit
@@TheRCNetwork Well servo might not have common traxxas servo burning issues but its really overpriced for what you get. Same goes for the batteries you can get the gens for half the price and get tiple the performance. I work at traxxas specialised hobby store and belive me I've tested both many times. Servo might not have failed on me but for its price it underperforms.
Ev0ltion I get it, and everyone has options and budgets. Is Traxxas over priced in comparison? Sure....but they also have responsibilities. For $99 for the 400 oz/in servo from Traxxas, you get the backing of a warranty. Sure, you can get an “ABC” brand servo with 400oz/in for $69-75 but good luck if anything goes wrong, of if that servo is even really 400oz/in. I’m a huge GensAce fan as well, but they’re not perfect either. I’ve had just as many TRX batteries puff as Gens Ace.
Well my expirience with savox as a cheaper brand was pretty flawless out of like 20 servox i've burned one(totally my fault. Forgot to turn off my baja before switching radio to the other car so the brake was engaged stressing servo for like an hour) Still got the warranty refound (distributor was waiting for delayed shipment) right away. But to sum it all up we all have diffrent expiriences and base what we use on them. All i know for sure is that these bumbers look good :P
