Best SEGA 32X Games in Order of Greatness 

The sequel is one of my favorite Saturn games.

The Game Gear version is pretty good for the system, a bit slower paced but relatively easy. Good game though.

just download an emulator fam u can do it on pc or xbox series s or x

get a load of tomb raider open laura and doom resurrection. 32x was more than capable of holding its own, there simply wasn't a chance for the system to grow. you can blame sega of japan for the mess. the original plan was for 32x to be a budget system sold alongside saturn, the more expensive option. back in those days, game companies were terribly paranoid. nintendo and sega were under the assumption that consumers simply bought one or the other of a console, not both consoles. (people were NOT poor, it was very common to buy all consoles and lots of games), but SEGA was paranoid that no one would want the saturn with the upcoming PS1 (without realizing that people actually wanted both Saturn and PS1), resulting in SEGA rushing the 32x and Saturn, resulting in unfinished games being released early or rushed, and ultimately the abandonment of the 32x. Sega of Japan should have just waited and released later. People would gladly have bought the Saturn even with the PS1 around the corner, because PS1 does not have Sonic or other SEGA titles. Ironically, because of the rush, we got no Sonic at all.

Pitfall is terrible on the 32x The frame rate is 20fps! Yet the megadrive is 60 fps and has exactly the same graphics. Utterly pointless to buy on 32x. Best version is the mega cd version.

É pq vc não jogou bem, mas Virtua Racing, MK 2, Tempo, Pitfall, Doom, Star Wars Arcade e WWF WrestleMania são jogos bons tbm.

@@fqnfinancas3431 tem tempo esse comentário meu rs. Como assim não joguei bem? Não me referia a jogabilidade, mas sim o impacto que eu tive ao joga-los. No sentido de ser o único motivo para ter o console.

É pq na sua frase inicial como ficou com sentido incompleto,. tive outra interpretação entende? Mas realmente concordo com você. Mas o Virtua Racing, Doom e Tempo acho que colocaria como jogos que valeria a pena num primeiro momento. Mas como o console não teve suporte e sucesso de vendas, fica difícil o investimento, é mais apropriado para colecionador mesmo.

At the time it was almost the only other way to play doom without a PC for 800+ notes. It is far from the worst port, have you seen the 3do version as example? Ironically it could of had a very close port of doom - ever heard of doom resurrection on the 32x? Its an up to date port and is absolutely stunning.

Pitfall especially. 20fps. When same graphics as the megadrive original which runs at 60fps. Absolutely pointless and head scratching as to why release it in such a state?! Or at all... as for doom - remember on its release there practically was no other way to play doom other than a very expensive pc - and console wise, the jaguar which is a better version...but did you really wanna buy a jaguar at the time just for doom.

Probably fair to say that any of its games that could be considered "great" were ports of existing titles, some of which are arguably the best console ports of those titles when all of their strengths outweigh their shortcomings (MK 2, Doom, Black Thorne).

Such an ill conceived add on. One of the many gaffes that lead to the unfortunate downfall of my beloved Sega. To be fair it could have been a great cheaper alternative to the Saturn but the software just wasn't there. Definitely the least used piece of Sega hardware in my collection.

Steller assault, space harrier and after burner, virtua racing, star wars and I would say doom - if it is the up to date new resurrection...
