when i first ate there almost 20 years ago, i could taste the flavour , the smell and recently i went there but alas , it just doesnt taste the same anymore. maybe i am getting old
To be honest there are no more authentic nasi padang in sgpore. Today nasi padang has some malay influenced. The nearest place to get 100% authentic nasi padang is in Batam where they is a huge Padang Minang community there. The one is Jakarta and Padang the birthplace. When you are there plse dun forget to try nasi kapau
