The Josie Marian argan milk has been out for like 10 years I have been using it forever I love it it's one of the things I have used the longest when I got into skincare and I continue to go back to it. Thanks for your favs I always love to know about new good things to try.
After you introduced me to LeMieux, I'm addicted to Phyto-Nutrient Cleansing Gel (no need for a double cleanse) and their Rx Serum which has replaced Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair for me.
Love it, I have dry skin especially in winter, I do love Maelove, I just started using Good molecules wake up eye gel and Cosrx Advanced Snail piptide eye cream which I think is really helping. Winter is always hard we just got done with a lot of cold air and snow. ❄️☃️
Hi Elle! I love all the Josie Maran products too as well as Osmosis growth factor and NeoCutis eye creams. Josie’s SPF 47 had been a holy grail of mine for years. I’m using Tatcha vitamin c serum now and will try your recs when I need a new one. I always love hearing your favorites! Thank you!!!
Wonderful and helpful video. I'm currently using TT Vit C, but it is soooo pricey that I am going to try the less expensive vit C you recommended. Thanks, Elle! .
Love the Kinship Sunscreen! It’s been one of my favorite finds of 2021 too! I just recently got the Dr. Dennis Gross Lightweight Sunscreen though and I’m pretty obsessed with that now also. It says “lightweight” so I was nervous but it’s super hydrating and moisturizing on my dry skin. I’m a fan of the Elta MD Restore tinted as well but it’s a bit too dark/orange so I like to use it just a bit as a mix in with the others but it’s wonderful! I’ve found the Maelove Vitamin C serum kinda turns too fast as well and can be frustrating. I tried it on your recommendation and I do love it but you’re right it starts to degrade too fast to get through. I will definitely be trying the Dime one you talked about! Thank you!
I've been using the Good Molecules Cleansing Gel upon hearing about it in one of your videos and I really like it. I agree, no need to spend a ton of money on a cleanser. Thank you for this video and your recommendations!
Need to try the fig essence. My current favorite that transformed my skin is the Korean beauty Iunik Beta-Glucan Power Moisture Serum 🙏 hyaluronic acid wasn't doing much for me in the rocky mountains, thanks for introducing me to beta glucan! My sunscreen discovery this year is the Bioderma Photoderm SPF 50+, using the new European sunscreen filters. Chemical + physical sunscreen to help hyperpigmentation prone.
Hi Elle, I’ve been loving the Osmosis skincare products, especially the Catalyst AC-11 serum, it’s removed All my skin tags that I was starting to get with age, it’s been a total game changer for my skin, I’ve also been using the Rejuvuas ABC serum that you recommended awhile ago, I’ll sometimes use it for just a one and done quick skincare routine in the morning without all the steps, I haven’t tried their cleanser but I’d imagine it to be quite expensive just as the Rejuvuas ABC serum, I’m confused when you said not to spend much money on cleansers and that one is expensive. I’m going to be trying the new TT 5% Retinol serum, I’ll have to do it on nights that I don’t use the Osmosis Renew, I use it every night. Have a Wonderful 2022. Cheers from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺❤️❤️❤️
Sun Bum 50 has been my favorite sunscreen. I am very fair and wear sunscreen year round with a few days I go light so I can soak in vitamin D from the sun. But the Sun Bum can be used on body and face. I get a 3oz bottle on Amazon for about 12 to 13$...I was spending double that on high end brands of sunscreen like Shiseido and it wasn't spf50.
Hey Elle, Happy New Year!! My skincare is pretty simple, I am 53 & have been taking care of my skin since I was 19 yrs old. My question is, why does my skin look really good bare but when applying my makeup, it just doesn't look as healthy? Kinda weird & absolutely frustrating! I've switched foundations many times but can't get my skin to look as fresh & plump as it does without makeup. What is going on? Any suggestions or advice to give me? Please help & thank you so much!!
Have you tried a BB cream? I love the Elf one. My skin can do the same sometimes with foundation. I find my skin looks healthiest with my Australian Gold tinted SPF and the Elf BB cream over it.
I saw a Wayne Goss video a few years back and he talked about this. Foundations just make the skin look older! Not damaging, just in appearance. It was a really interesting watch. Anyway, I’d try less is more. Maybe just spot conceal or use a super light coverage foundation like a tint? If your skin is pretty, why do you need foundation anyway, right?
I also love many of the Josie Marian products. The milk is my favorite!! I buy when it’s on sale. Always calms my skin. I’m also using Alpyn Beauty, have most of their products and am happy with them❤️Love their peel. Gentle but I see results. Another favorite is the eye cream from Sunday Riley and I also purchased the Good Genes from QVC yesterday like someone else mentioned. Like this line also just not sure if it’s as “clean” as Josie and Alpyn.
#ELLESQUAD I love the Derma E eye cream! The Josie Maran tinted is an all time favorite. I also love the 2 Josie Maran serums but I ran out of the Milk serum. Should the other 2 serums be used with the Milk serum? How do you feel about Exuviance?
Josie Marian and tatcha are my go too! Unfortunately I tried for a cheaper version of cleansers and ended up with hives on my face 🤦🏼♀️, just re-ordered my go too ones!
Thanks for this video. I got the Osmosis rescue because they said it would help with pores also, but Osmosis Rescue smells so bad and lingers. Any solutions for that?
Weighing in here….I absolutely HATED AND DESPISED the smell too for some time but HONESTLY NOW I love it and actually look forward to putting it on. Crazy I know. Never found a way to camouflage it. Just think about all the amazing things it is doing for your skin!!!!!! Hope this helps. ❤️❤️
Hey Elle! This year I’ve been going hard with the SkinFix triple lipid peptide cream. Such a miracle for my dry 40+ skin! Have you seen the new Peter Thomas Roth glycolic and retinol pads? Are they similar to your fave?
I have been using Creme De Skin Creations Retinol Night Serum, 1 oz. from Dollar Tree. It has been working really well for me. I used to use a prescription and for me, this works better with no irritation.
Hi Elle! What great " favorites ". I think it speaks volumes when many of our favorites don't change because it means they are good products! I started using the Rejuvuas ABC Serum this year. You had talked about it, really wanted it, but was afraid of the price. I love it!! I only need that one product, only a small amount is needed & it works! I have seen results. Also, I always have at least 2 Essences. XOXO
I'm still using Le Mieux and Mirenesse products (I still enjoy their Endless Youth Magic Beads 😊), you introduced them to us a good few years ago! The Maysama Green Rooibos Pressed Serum and the Bradceuticals Adipose Stem Cell Serum are fairly recent additions to my skincare routine. I'm really happy with both of them. Elle, as your skincare routine is aimed at hyperpigmentation, I was wondering if you know of any really good/good products for anti-aging? I'm only asking because I don't suffer from hyperpigmentation - but I am showing signs of aging. It's mainly the serums I'm interested in. No worries if you're unable to answer, I totally understand 😍 Love you loads and loads 💗💗🌟💗💗🌟💗💗🌟💗💗🌟💗💗
thanks love!!! oh love all of my products are anti-aging. Yes they are focused on pigment but I make sure that the ingredients have what is needed for aging xoxo
Thank you Elle!! LOVE this! Is the DIME vitamin C safe for sensitive skin types? I currently use Maelove and like it but as you said it starts to break down quickly and change color.
Hello! I have been watching you for several months now and love your passion for skincare. I have bought many products both in the skincare and makeup lines that you have spoken about. In November I purchased the Tatcha skincare line and I have had terrible breakouts that itch on my face, neck...even behind my ears. I have never had this problem before. I am still fighting the redness and breakouts. I stopped the products after about one week. What do you suggest? I have the same skin type as you.
sorry you had that reaction, hope you were able to return them. I would go to my skincare playlist, I have a ton of other recommendations other then tatcha
Hi Elle, you always have me curious about growth stem factors. I haven’t bought yet…Question, do you use it in the same day as you would use a retinal product or would you use it on a different day? Thx so much, adore you!
Thank you Elle, Happy New Year to you and your family🥰!!!! Quick question, do you think snail mucin by Cosrx can cause the pigment on your skin to lighten in odd areas? Also, I have been using the Cosrx essence for two years twice a day and their gel oil free lotion with willow bark and wonder if it doesn’t do well with my makeup. Thoughts please
Hey there what do you think of Sunday Riley good genes? QVC just had it yesterday as their today's special. I ordered it my 60 year old skin needs something to get off that old skin. I do take very good care of my skin but this sounded like the booster I may need?
Love Tatcha!! Looking good Elle👍🏻 Are you going to be reviewing the new Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Foundation? It sounds right up my alley 😊 and yours 😂
Retinols DUH!!! Hahaha im still laughing. Thank u for this video. Ive never tried osmosis or anything w growth factor. I need to educate myself on this!
