I'm really glad you enjoyed it here. Sadly alot of these dishes are too expensive for normal city goers and Slovenians in general. These dishes would only be ordered for special kind of days. I won't question the freshness of Ljubljana dishes, but we go to countryside to order these. Primarily because of the prices and also because you literally get a steak from a farm next door xD
I would like to know if restaurants in Ljubljana accept Visa as payment, and Visa egift cards? How much in Euros would be sufficient for an excellent meal for two cost? I would like to send an egift card to a friend in Slovenia. Thank you.
Hello, Visa was accepted everywhere we ate, I would say that restaurants in Ljubljana were more expensive than in the smaller towns. I would just search for a few restaurants and compare their menus for a pricing guide. I’d have no clue what to advise on amount. I’m sure they will love the gift 🎁
