Installing a Nameless axle back exhaust system on Lauren's 2018 Crosstrek! Probably the best sounding exhaust out there for these Crosstreks. This one specifically has the 5" muffler. And it has no drone! If you are concerned about drone, we recommend getting the axle back with the 5” muffler! Thanks for watching!! Like & subscribe!
Lifted on an Anderson 1 1/2" in the front and 1” rear (Anderson’s economy lift kit) with 15x7 +15 5x100 Black Rhino Arches and Falken Wildpeak tires 235/75r15!

Just got this. Installing on my first gen trek. Little modifying to make it work and I can’t wait to hear how it sounds. For the comments saying don’t get this if you have the CVT transmission, just use the manual mode then so you can launch in 1st gear and paddle shift thru the gears to get those exhaust sounds

i have a 2020 crosstrek as well and have been thinking about installing this exhaust. is yours a cvt?? and does that make any difference without cvt do you know?

Quinster, yes I think it will sound good. No I do not believe having CVT will make a difference. My 2020 is a limited with a CVT. It sounds the best when driven in the "sport" mode. It's still a crosstrek but just a much healthier sounding one with the exhaust. I also have an AEM cold air intake on mine. Both are worth the purchase price 😀

My 2018 is very similar. I haven't lifted it yet (might not even bother with ~9.2" of ground clearance as it is), but I put 225/65R17 BF Goodrich KO2's (28.5") on the stock alloys and it looks sick. It spends 90% of its time on pavement so I'm keeping it as civil as possible. My exhaust is warrantied, so I'll wait until that's up to upgrade. Mud flaps are next, and it's definitely getting a roof rack in the near future.

Bought the same exact lift kit from Anderson for my 2021 Crosstrek. I love it ! I wanted to go with 15" tires (my stock size is 22560R17s ) . Every place told me they wouldn't fit over the calipers ? Lots of people seem to be going with this set up though. I love my Wildpeaks too ! I may be going with offset wheels (-15 or so)

YASSSSSS, I’m looking to get the same exhaust from nameless and this just reassured me it’s the right decision. Also, our subies are basically twins 😎 I got the same wheels but in black- the new tires, wheels, and lift kit are getting installed on April 8th and I can’t freaking wait! Love the whole set up and can’t wait to keep up with the progress! Maybe you’ll give me more ideas I haven’t thought of yet to add to it 🤙

Shouldn’t have any troubles daily driving, but maybe need a little trimming for heavier off-roading. We never had any problems tho!

Thank you! If there are leaks, just loosen the two bolts an little bit, re-align and re-tighten and you should be good to go. If it doesn’t work, repeat the process!

Looks like it's time for the new GrimmSpeed Trails flare kit and "x" vinyl to knock down the red reflectors. Not totally sold on the tire size...some bfg a/t ko2s would look nice, even in 225/75 or 225/70...

Yes we liked it. It wasn’t too obnoxious or too loud. Noisy enough to know it’s there, but quiet enough to enjoy the drive. Definitely recommend getting it with the muffler like the one in the video.

It was straight bolt on just held on by two bolts and the exhaust hangers. Very simple install.

I agree I put aftermarket exhaust from LP adventures on my 3.6r Outback. Sounds great on start up but driving is a horrible drone because the CVT keeps the RPM very low. I went back to stock mufflers!

You occasionally hear a slight rub on the inner plastic wheel well in the front but other than that they fit pretty much perfect. Could be fixed with some trimming. Wouldn’t recommend going any bigger though!

It should not. The manufacturer has to prove that whatever is wrong with the car was caused by the modification. For example, huge tires and wheels could shorten the life of the axles, in that case they could decide to not warrant it. But in the case of a muffler, a muffler does not modify anything but the direction air takes to exit the vehicle.
